Great spot and staff, and the food was pretty good.
My only complaint is the prices.
The wasabi wonton wrapped shrimp was $16! And you only get six regular size shrimp. Not even jumbo. That was definitely overpriced. I would not pay more than $10 for that dish. $2.66 each for something the size of my index finger is a little crazy. Especially since my Santa Fe chicken sandwich meal was $1 more and was six times as much food on my plate. Spending over $40 with tip for the two items pictured, doesn’t seem right.

What a great place! The staff was very friendly even the ones who didn’t seat or wait on us. Great view of the lake, plenty of choices for drinks and food. Loved how the bloody Mary’s were a meal in themselves . The food was delicious the drinks went down smooth. Alot of neat things to look at, some great artwork! We can’t wait to come back.

Great selection of craft beer with unique atmosphere. I absolutely love the décor and the attention to detail of the theme. Front patio has a beautiful view of the lake with a custom firepit. The food menu has something for everyone and you will not leave disappointed.

Wow. The burgers here are incredible!! My husband and I moved to this area almost 4 years ago and for some reason, always passed up trying Bugaboo. What a mistake that was. I was craving a teriyaki burger from that one chain restaurant RR, but didn’t want to drive all of the way there. I saw that Bugaboo had a teriyaki burger with a garlic mayo and was instantly sold. We placed an order to go and the food came out pretty fast! I ordered the teriyaki burger with fries and my husband was recommended to try the Don burger. Oh. My. Goodness!!! My burger was straight up heavenly. It was everything I was craving and more. And the patty was huge! You don’t really grasp how big 1/2 a pound is until you pick up this massive burger to try and eat it. My only complaint, which is my fault, is that in my excitement of finding this burger, I didn’t realize there wasn’t cheese on it. The menu is a little sparce for information on the burger section. It doesn’t even tell you that you get fries. If cheese options were laid out, I would have ordered it with some. Luckily, I had a slice of cheddar at home that paired perfectly with this amazing burger. My husband loved his Don burger. The amount of pulled pork they added was crazy!!! He loved it!! The prices weren’t bad at all for how much food you get. The fries were perfect, too! Still hot and crispy after an 8 minute drive home. It took us forever to come try this place, but we will be back. Soon.

Got seated right away. The patio was half full. Nobody came to our table for 10 minutes. So we left. As we were leaving, we passed 3 servers….. no response.

My girlfriend, who has a trained service dog, and I were trying to eat at Bugaboos and were kicked out by the rude manager. She insisted that the law stated my girlfriends dog needed a service vest and a certificate needed to be presented. She continued to elevate in her tone and said she works in a hospital and knows all the service dog laws. Her ignorance of the law and rudeness was totally unprofessional and embarrassing to say the least. She then proceeded to to say “ O my God” “ O my God”. Loud enough for patrons to turn and look at her with astonishment. So embarrassing to us and the establishment.
For the manager – here is the law you have neglected to learn. Maybe spend a little more time educating yourself, instead of pretending you know the actual law, and throwing your weight around when you are wrong and making a fool of yourself with you behavior…ignorance of the law doesn’t give you an excuse or right to abuse your customers!
No, you are not required to show a service dog certificate when going to eat at a restaurant, as there is no federal requirement for a certificate or identification for service animals. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), restaurant staff can only ask two questions if the dog’s status as a service animal is not obvious: “Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?” and “What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?”
***So stop asking for ID that doesn’t exist because if anyone is showing ID they are fake***
My girlfriend did talk to Don the owner, who said we could stay, but who wants to give business to an establishment that employs such rude staff. One would think the fact that they had a dog biting there in the past that they would correctly know the law today.
I recommend others give their business to those establishments that respect service dogs and take the time to accurately learn the law.

Will keep doing annual reviews as I go.
But the service i feel like since the start of summer this year has fallen off A LOT. I still go hoping it is figured out because it has been fine in past but last few months I have had 3+ occasions where I almost just left because our group had to goto bar to get drinks or basically stand up to get attention for drink orders. One time I sat with my kids for 40 min before we got our first visit to the table.
Hoping it is just some summer fluke. It wasn’t understaffed days I look for that when it is slow.

The Mac Daddy Burger here absolutely kicks ass. Juicy, perfectly cooked patty topped with fresh lettuce, melty cheese, and that killer 1000 Island sauce that ties everything together. The bun was toasted just right and held up without falling apart. The seasoned fries on the side were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. Honestly, this was one of those meals where you finish and immediately think about when you’re coming back for the next round. Highly recommend if you’re craving a legit burger and fries done right.
