Came at 4:25pm just when the start buffet time. The food was very delicious and does not taste like a traditional buffet. You can understand that there is actual care that goes into preparing these dishes. The restaurant is incredibly clean and offers a very pleasant dining experience. Everytime I sat down with a new plate, the server was asking if I needed anything else. This is top teir service. Not to mention, the staff actually seemed happy to be there. I came here 4 months ago and was blown away by how good every aspect was, Now I returned and see things are even better. Whoever is managing this place deserves the highest praises. Awesome place to stop by on the way to Regina.

Usually we’ve gone for lunch but this past weekend we had the supper buffet. All I can say is very impressive. They had in my opinion the best variety one could expect from a Chinese food buffet. Everything was hot, tasty and for the cost you can’t go wrong. The variety of shrimp was impressive and there was never a shortage of food. The place was busy but the line-up moved at a decent place. I have to mention the tiger ice-cream is always a bonus cause you can’t find it anywhere else. Our waiter was awesome, he’s been there a long time sorry I should’ve grabbed your name but thanks again for the great service. All the chain restaurants in the Hat you should have a look at what this place offers vs your cookie cutter crap you serve all at a ridiculous price. Hats Restaurant has been a total let down for a longtime so do yourself a favor and give the Med Hat Buffet a whirl!!!

Great Venue for Large Groups
Sometimes you go where your pack can gather without problem. That is where Medicine Hat Buffet shines.
We reserved a table for 20; this place has some substantial square footage to it and accommodated with ease. Our group didn’t even remotely dominate the place.
The overall decor is not modern and not out of date. I feel like it’s completely unassuming, and designed to never look on trend nor out of touch. It was clean, and that matters more to me than when the countertops were updated in the bathroom. My only critique here is that I prefer paper towel to a blow dryer situation, but again; nice and clean.
The service was sensational. Karla, our server, was attentive and interested; she was charming and inserted herself just the right amount. We had a good mix of kids and adults, latecomers, and those that needed to leave early. She seemed to fit right in with the natural ebb and flow of our group.
On top of that, I saw management quietly walking around acknowledging their guests. Not ominously at all, but in a quiet, overseer-supportive manner. It was nice—very welcoming. You can tell they care about their guests’ experience. Everyone around me was praising the food and the variety, which, if you’ve dined with littles, can be a challenge itself.
While I was up at the buffet, I saw the staff refilling and training a new team member. I was happy to see the intention put into the systems that keep the buffet itself running smoothly. Kudos to such professionals in the kitchen.
A little tip I learned, if you want the inside scoop: use the soup bowls for the soft serve (they hold more and allow more space for the toppings!)
What meant the most was that we were actively given space and grace to just be with our family in all its chaotic glory, and that left me feeling like we couldn’t have selected a more appropriate venue for our gathering.

Wow this was our 1st time there. Very clean and modern. It is fantastic, excellent selection and food and the staff are awesome. We LOVE the food and atmosphere.

Went on Boxing day for dinner. Reservations made 2 weeks in advance. First time dining here. We arrived 10 minutes early and table was ready. Waitress very prompt to serve beverage order. We had water and tea, waitress checked in often to offer more hot water. Buffet selection was great, mainly Asian dishes, ham, turkey and section with veggies/salads, lots of variety. Seats were comfy, lots of booths and sectioned off areas. Because it was busy it was loud from people talking, but didn’t need to yell to have a conversation.

We had such a wonderful experience at this buffet! The food selection was excellent — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There was truly something for everyone. The service was just as impressive: staff were attentive, welcoming, and quick to clear plates without being intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, it was a perfect combination of great food, great service, and a pleasant setting. Highly recommend!

The servers are good. The owners are disgusting. The lady was in the area with the food and was repeatedly coughing. She didn’t make any effort at all to cover her mouth. I was seated so I could see the entrance. They were constantly rude to people coming in. I really hope that you go to another place in town. I would never go back to this place. The bathroom stunk like old urine. There was no way to dry your hands in the men’s bathroom. I really hope these people fail. Maybe it could get in the hands of decent people. To the servers, thank you for the great service. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to work for those people.

SO disappointed! Have been here numerous times with great experience but NOT today ! Was here for lunch today – SO much salt in SO many of the dishes ! Vermicelli noodles and chicken wings were hardly edible they were SO salty ! Very disappointing! Won’t be doing this again for quite some time – maybe never again !

Besides the best food Buffet I have ever had in my 43years!! This place is the first restaurant to do this only for your birthday. The only restaurant I have ever heard of that only has this item thats not on the menu for your Birthday …. only! WOW!! The staff is so nice and friendly. The owen is amazingly nice guy. The price is great. Also….. this is totally Keto friendly place to eat with lots of food choices. Please don’t pass up the opportunity to eat here if your in town or passing though. But bring your appetite! Over 20 years in business, how come I never heard of it before. It should be famous. ♡
