As with all of the buffets in Grand Island, you expect mediocre food, and as long at it’s hot, that’s good enough. Typically, this place keeps the food hot. The egg drop soup is excellent.
That said… You don’t expect the big screen TV right in front of your face to be showing hunters killing, disemboweling, skinning, and cooking various animals, such as orangutans. Not just an overview either, the close ups of the face of the deceased animal, organs being pulled out, a zooming in of the inside of the spread out rib cage… Seriously, no one wants to watch that while they eat. I’d have loved to have just looked away, but when it’s right there, the movement catches the eye. Maybe choose more neutral things to show in the dining area?

Came to the state fair and decided to eat here first. They’ve gone downhill from the last time I been here. The food was cold, and the veggies tasted like chemicals. I’m glad I went to the bathroom after I was done because I would have lost my appetite on how unsanitary it is. Yuck!

Small buffet… Could have lived with that if the food was good. Chicken tastes like fish, it’s noon and almost all the food is empty. Egg rolls taste sour and all around plain nasty. If my husband and I don’t get food poisoning it will be a miracle!

This was an amazing place to eat at, Not only that but friendly staff. We originally were heading to Applebees until my fiancé pointed at this place and let me tell you, The food was outstanding! My son is a very picky eater and he had a lot on his plate and ate a lot. As you can see by the picture he’s enjoying it. This pregnant mama is happy and will definitely be our new go to spot. 100% Recommend!
