Once we were seated, our waitress, Mellisa came and took her drink order. Shortly after she came and took our food order to go turn it in.
We waited. And waited. They keep the thermostat set very low, shivering uncomfortable cold. While you drink ice cold drinks.
Our food arrived at precisely 12:25. You would like to think that the delay was because they had to cook the food fresh and hot. Unfortunately, it wasn’t hot. Now that may be a result of how cold they keep it in the restaurant, but I think it was more along the line that it sat waiting to be picked up.
After we finished, we again had to wait for our waitress Mellisa to show up. We needed to go boxes and the check..
I will say that Mellisa was very friendly very efficient. Very good waitress when she was there. The problem was that she wasn’t there very often.
Overall, this entire experience sucked. The food was lukewarm, the waits were intolerable.
We were in there for over an hour. Not of our choice. I gave them two stars, one was for Mellisa.
Alyssa was personable and efficient, making sure everything was perfect without us ever having to ask. Brett and Truman were quick to help wherever needed and kept things running smoothly, especially during a busy rush. It really stood out how well they communicated and supported each other as a team.
It’s rare to see service this consistent and positive — they made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this location because of them!
Rating: ★★★★★
I had a fantastic experience at this Buffalo Wild Wings, and it was largely thanks to our server, Alyssa. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome with a genuinely friendly attitude and a great smile.
Here is why she stood out:
Super Attentive: She seemed to know exactly when we needed a refill or extra napkins before we even had to ask.
Great Recommendations: She knew the menu inside and out and helped us pick the perfect sauces.
Fast & Accurate: Despite the restaurant being busy, our drinks stayed full and the order came out exactly right.
It’s rare to find someone so upbeat and professional in a fast-paced environment. Alyssa really elevated our meal from a quick bite to a great night out. We will definitely be asking for her section next time we’re in!
Later, he wasn’t attentive and made remarks like, “Great, of course, sure, I did see that coming from you people,” when I was signing the bill and chose not to include a tip on my card because I was planning to give him a 20% cash tip.
The food was great, but I’m never visiting this place again.
Time – 9:30PM to 11:00PM on march 5th,2026.
Booth number – 86
Been awhile since I’ve been in; its VERY obvious there’s new MGMT, or some types of changes.
Every order of mine has been spot on (2 visits this week) as a guy that has a 30-40 minutes drive home.. this means a LOT. Thank you
staff helpful, friendly & prompt, despite being ‘slammed’ imo / busy. Made me feel like I’m the only customer.
My main item to order is wings, the count has been perfect 2/2 orders now this week.
It’s obvious there’s Teamwork happening here; more than ever before.
Keep it up y’all!
I sat at a table in the bar. My waitress Hailie , who also was running behind the bar to help her team member. She went out of her way to help me determine the best options for my odd diet. Literally poring thru spreadsheets giving me all their options. Above & beyond service. Didnt know i was a king lol. Solid gal ; who deserves every tip $ u can spare. Genuinely.
Same for the cooks, my food was out in under 10 minutes, those guys back there don’t play around. I intentionally preferred more items as i was eating & that speed was consistent for over an hour i was there. Hope you’re hungry; they’re serious about filling your belly. Haha
Talked with management as i left. Again i was equally impressed. Outstanding work you all. Now i wanna bring my friends here again like i did way back in highschool.
I never saw a workers phone, that’s wild these days, & showed me how much every person on the clock.. cares.
Thank you again to the whole team, for helping make Denton beautiful
When you dine in, you’ll be the only people there, but your food will still take an hour. Cooks must be playing rocket league and getting high in the back, then finally remember that they’re working. Once they cook it though, they let it sit for 15 minutes to cool down to lukewarm before giving it to the two servers who stand around waiting for a second table to come in.
Ordered pickup off and on for a couple years. Not once was the entire order correct. It got so bad and regular that I’d unpack each bag at my car to check before leaving. It eventually got so bad that the to-go guys started doing that with everyone’s orders at the pickup table.
Craziest part is I thought this was just the downfall of all BDUBS but it’s actually just Denton. Congrats. Highland Village and others are perfectly fine.
Edit: It’s days later now, and how bad this place is actually makes me feel disrespected on a level that I haven’t felt before. These people and I guess mainly the managers are perfectly content wasting hours of people’s lives just because they wanted a good time and made the mistake of coming here. No remorse. No change. It’s been like this for years. On my deathbed, I will remember the amount of precious hours wasted at the Denton Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s honestly so bad I don’t see how it isn’t intentional.
Edit: Google says people typically spend about an hour here. I bet half those people were supposed to be pickup orders that weren’t ready, and the rest were stuck at their seats waiting on the cooks to come back from their smoke break.
