I placed an order through the app for pickup. When I arrived at the time the app gave me for pickup, it took just over 5 minutes for someone to greet me and check if my order had been completed yet. 10 minutes after i arrived is when their team member for the take out counter comes out to the counter. About 17 minutes after I arrived is when my order is ready. I take my order home and find that parts of my order are wrong, missing, or outright disgusting. The lemon pepper wings on my order were supposed to be boneless, my fries for my mushroom swiss burger were not present, and my thai curry wings still had feathers on them. This is my first experience at this Buffalo Wild Wings, but I have been to many in the past and none have ever been such a terrible experience.

Let me start with the positive of this review, the food was as expected and good. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get pictures of it but it was very good. For the food we did get we waited a little over an hour for and watched other tables get their food before us. On top of all of this as soon as we walked in we heard an annoying clicking sound that was very noticeable from the back. I will say that I know it was not the waitresses fault for the service as they were severely understaffed and was more of a company problem. But as a result of her having to do a lot, our drinks were hardly ever refilled during the hour of waiting. Overall I’m very disappointed in a historically great wing place to go to.

Went in and ordered a large fry for 7.99 and fried pickles for 9.99. Got the order after about 15 minutes. Went out to the car looked in the bag and seen i got a regular sized fry. Took them back inside they told me to keep the regular and got me a large. Wasn’t a big deal. Got home and opened the pickle fries and it had 13 pickles for 10 dollars?? Bit into it and the batter on the inside was still raw. They weren’t crispy whatsoever. Never been here before and just thought I’d give it a try. Not the best…. maybe if there were more pickles for 10 dollars and they were actually fried all the way it would’ve been better.. the guy at the front was very kind though!

3.5 star guys???? Come on now… This place is going downhill. Fast. If you want to spend money for cold food, wrong orders etc… This is your place! It irritates me because I love this place.
This boils down to the cooks. Period. Not the servers. Not the bartenders. The cooks. They’re either LAZY or do NOT listen.
I’m just going to update each issue for notation.
December 8th 2025 – Ordered a philly (no beer cheese, ADD queso) $16.25 later. I got home & it’s a philly with beer cheese. Refund requested.
Bruhhhhh.
November 2025 – A server took you from a 1 star to a 4 star. My bestie & I went & we were very pleased with the server/service. Megan/Morgan (I can’t remember her name) she was attentive, fast & friendly! When we return we will request her.
A date farther back 1st issue – I spent $45.63 on 2 meals.
x1 – 15 wings/fries.
x1 – Philly/fries
How do I spend that much, WAIT an hour, live not ONLY 4 minutes from this business? Upon getting home my wings, fries, AND philly were cold. HOW?! What the heck? The Philly bread was almost rock-hard!

Bar stools are comfy.
Nothing is cheap.
The staff are rude (except the bartender).
The wings are small.
Pickup took 25 minutes one day, so i stopped tipping with my credit card. Next time, pickup took 45 minutes.
This place is only good for a few beers at 1am or to watch a game.

After an hour and a half, my “saucy chicken” arrived without any sauce, and had a cold piece of cheese (it wouldn’t even melt). I had one beer that was only filled to a few inches below the top, and was not asked if I wanted a second, or any water. There were a lot of empty tables nearby so it wasn’t a busy night. I saw another table wait to put in their order, then leave when the waitress didn’t show up. I’ve only been there once so it could have just been a bad night.

I took it home and gave it to my dogs……obviously the owner here doesnt give a doodoo about the quality of food … wings are hard and chewy , hatch burger was gross … no thank you . Wont be back ever ….

I feel bad for the wait staff here. They have to deal with angry customers because their kitchen is criminally understaffed.
The management refuses to staff the kitchen even during peak hours. This is the slowest kitchen in Joplin by a mile. Don’t expect to get your food within an hour of ordering. Even appetizers will take 30-45 minutes on average.
Management please do better. I hate that my go to sports bar has fallen so far. As of writing this I’m an hour and 24 minutes in with no sign of getting our food yet.
Edit: we got our food at the 1 hour 36 minute mark. Half of the food looks ok, but the other half looks like it set out for an hour. Most of the nachos are too soggy to even pick up. This is awful

Worst meal I have had anywhere in a very long time. First, we waited over 35 minutes to get our food and when we finally got it it was dry and the ends of my stark were charred. The fries tasted like they had been under a warmer for a long period of time. I will not go back again. The server came back one time to check on us during the entire time we were here other than when she finally brought the check.
I do recommend the Mountain Dew Radler though.
