So I live roughly 50 min from this location and I had a friend who works at this location and I wanted to visit her today since I finally got a night off. Well she was my server of course and I got there an hour and half before they close because working in the service industry I get coming in when they are about to close is annoying so I tried to not get there too late. I ordered wings that were 75 cents per wing as well as two beers that were on a deal. She did a wonderful job at being a server and was fun to see her be a server at Buffalo Wild Wings and really enjoy herself when I hadn’t seen her serve before. Turns out as her shift ended they let her go of course I’m not going to say any names and what not for privacy reasons as I don’t know everything but she had told me she got off working a double and they let her go because of too many complaints she had. Granted she did sit down at my table to say hi which I get is maybe against policy but she had mentioned that people complained she drank on the job which I can vouch is inexcusable on the job but if it was because of her sitting at my table which I can vouch never happened. Then I’m not sure why termination is viable in this situation. Listen I work in the service industry I get what goes and what doesn’t but for watching someone who I know and trust having serve me while I was there then leaving and having her tell me she was let go because of what she had told me doesn’t seem right in my eyes. She said that someone complained she was drinking from my beer which was not the case she did not do that. I agree that she sat down at my table to chat while she was free I get that that’s rude and maybe not allow d but again I do not know what all went down but when I got there she was nothing but helpful and caring and even helped the other guests she had left and in my opinion they didn’t say or have any comments about her but seemed nice to her and she was more then quick to help them. Again I get that the customers are always right but termination in this aspect from what I’m hearing whether incorrect or correct seems abrupt especially when i too understand the importance of having a job and needing to pay for bills and other expenses in my life. I would just say look into this. I may not have all the details but from what I had heard it does seem unfair.

Okay so I’ve eaten at other buffalo wild wings and ordered beer, burgers, wings, etc. This one however, in Athens, Alabama it’s got to be the bottom of the barrel. My food came out first. My wife and son’s food came out later. I ordered a cheeseburger which was okay. The Caesar chicken salad she ordered was way too spicy for chicken on a Caesar salad and my son went with the honey barbecue wings boneless and they were okay. We ordered dessert my son and myself ordered the chocolate cake with ice cream. It smelled like it came out of a cardboard box and tasted rather dry. The ice cream was probably the only normal thing about it. My wife ordered the cheesecake. It smelled like it came out of a cardboard box and did not taste like cheesecake. It tasted like something else. I don’t know what else but not cheesecake the crust on it was not to be desired. If I could have gave them a zero star for food I would I should have asked for the money back on the dessert but I paid anyways. No I will not be going back to this location. This has put a damper on how I view Buffalo wild Wing

I stopped by Sunday afternoon and received excellent food and service at the bar. Friendly and attentive staff. The food came out fast and hot. I would definitely return to this location.

First review of this place. I had been visiting this BWW since they opened. It was terrible for many years and definitely earned a negative reputation around Athens. However, over the past few months this place has really stepped up. Seems like the restaurant has more of a regular crowd nowadays too. Kudos to the staff and management for FINALLY turning this place around after so many bad years.

fired me for no reason accused me and didn’t even get evidence to back up my termination. very terrible people to be helped by don’t go here. i did my job and i did it good. didn’t give me any other reasons besides getting complaints from the customers and the customers lied on me. when there are workers there who do 10x worse, than i was just sitting at the table eating a couple fries with my friend, and drinking water, not alcohol which i was also accused of, and after asking to eat because i told them my blood sugar was low and felt like i was about to pass out. i felt like i wasn’t able to and felt disrespected at this restaurant the people there weren’t very friendly and at the start of the job everyone was rude and talking about me behind my back. fix the way you run your business please cuz people out here need to pay there bills.

This place has all its workers sitting at one table chatting. While all the tables & floors are dirty & full of people’s food/dishes peoples left. No one is here working. Service is slow!! Seemed more like a worker hangout spot then tending to there customers. I’d leave zero stars if I could!!

Plenty of food for price. We weren’t told about the specials until afterwards. Tenders too crisp. Food wasn’t terrible just not what I expected. Service not really service. Took our order and gave us a bill pretty much.
