Really cute spot and a great addition to the neighborhood. The food was good and made from fresh ingredients. The staff is really welcoming and personable. Parking is free in the parking lot.

I LOVE these pupusas and I’m so happy they now have a brick and mortar to pick them up when I have a taste for them! I always get two—chicken and cheese and bean and cheese.

I love the location. We need more healthy, homemade (non-fast food) options on the south side.

These are a great hand held filling lunch option. You can’t beat the combo—1 pupusa, plantains, rice and beans and a tiny cup of slaw for $12.99 (I think). I also ordered the fresh pineapple juice for $5–which was an unexpected, refreshing option.

The outdoor seating area is the perfect place to take a moment out of your day to slow down and savor the flavors.

The adjacent bodega has a limited selection of odds—coffee, jellies, etc to explore and purchase while waiting for your food to be cooked to order.

Rad grub, delicious drinks. Check out their IG for updates on hours. I got the Papusa of the day, and two drinks. Glad to have them tucked here in Sylvan Hills. I used to go to them when they were at The Met, stoked on this new spot too. Come try it out!

Pupusas are amazing! Only outdoor seating at the moment. It was hot and took a while to get the food. Also, a bit pricier than I anticipated for what it is.

$8 for a pupusa is crazy. There’s another pupusa place just 10 mins away and they’re $4 each. And it’s not because these are gigantic or anything, they’re normal size. And yes they’re good, but the gentrification of these prices isn’t worth it. And it’s not like the neighborhood they’re in justifies the crazy price. I don’t get it.

I’ve had the Cafe con Leche, baconegg&cheese Papua and guava pastry all excellent!! I drive 30+ mins from stone mountain just for the Cafe con Leche.

Seating is outside, just a great vibe. And the prices are right!

Ok. Yummy!
Ahh the pupusas so good and delicious. Customer service is great. The food came out hot and was worth the short wait.
Will come back again and again.

This is one of the HEALTHIEST breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. It’s from their old menu and it essentially has a thin layer of black beans, plantain, and finely chopped veggies.

It kept me full and inspired me to explore my breakfast sandwich opens. Egg, cheese, meat and dairy are not the only ingredients for a delicious morning sandwich.

I don’t think the coffee here is worth the price. But if you’re a tourist, you probably won’t mind it.

If you know you’ll be staying in Downtown ATL when you visit, this is a place you’ll probably want to walk to and enjoy early in the morning before other excursions.

Parking?

There’s no parking in front. Park in the lot across the street and keep an eye on your car so that it doesn’t get ticketed/booted/towed.

How did I discover this restaurant?

An old co-worked posted a picture of her food on her Instagram story and I asked her where did she get it from.

I found this place randomly, was at the entrance and Jeannette (the owner) came with a big smile and welcome. She made me feel at home not only with her hospitality but their delicious pupusas (try “Revuelta”). Food is really fresh and the staff is very friendly (and bilingual). If you are in Atlanta and want to get some good Latin bites, this is the place you should go. If you are a student with a low budget but still want to have healthy options, Jeannette and Ken will treat you like a son/daughter.

RATIONALE: “The most important matter in a restaurant is a FEEL not a LOOK. You can get to the best Restaurant in the world and have the best food but if you don’t feel comfortable within that environment, you’ll never enjoy it.” Marco Pierre White I review #1 Environment #2 Service #3 Food. My five stars ussually go to places that made me feel at home.

This place is bussin!!! Got a chorizo pupusa and it’s soo good. Had to wait for it inside because of the rain and it was the cutest little place. The lady at the window was literally so nice to me because I forgot my wallet and had to run back home and when I returned they had already made me my coffee.
