An old school burger joint where I got a whole meal for less than $10!?!? Incredible!
My first visit to Tarboro on my recent outing brought me to this establishment and I was in and out in 15-20 minutes! I had a Deluxe Cheeseburger and a Sausage Dog, with water to drink and a Pepsi to go, and all of that didn’t even run me ten dollars! The burger was a tad small, but with the way things cost now, it was a completely fair price for what I got!
I didn’t order any fries because I somehow didn’t even see them on the menu! Oops! Rest assured though, they do have them.
They also serve breakfast, provide outdoor seating, and have a general nostalgic atmosphere with the size and decor of the building. With that said, it’s best if you come alone, as there’s not much extra room here.
I actually walked in at about 2:50 completely unaware they were closing soon but even after I realized that and said something, they were more than happy to serve me anyway! Points for that!
However, there is sadly one thing that I must criticize: The bathroom.
Now they do HAVE a bathroom, but it requires you to go outside and walk to the back of the building to get to it. On top of that, the floor was WET and there was practically no toilet paper left, so I’m glad I only had to pee. Again, they were about to close, so maybe they had just mopped the floor or something, but still.
One more thing: It looked as though they may have had a drive thru lane at some point, so that’s neat.

Phenomenal restaurant. Such an old fashioned family diner feel. Staff is AMAZING! Pizza burger is best burger I’ve ever had. Chicken salad is to die for and I wish they sold it in gallon sizes. Prices are very, very reasonable. Highly recommend you give them a visit.

Stopped Into this little diner for a quick lunch with my daughter. The place is small but does have some Seating inside. The menu is pretty extensive and way more options available than I initially thought there would be. I do have to say that the food here is amazing! It was made to order while we waited ( we took our order to go since I was running errands). The price of the food was excellent and the quality great . I would highly recommend this place for a filling delicious meal.

Delicious Pizza Burger!!! One of the BEST I’ve ever had! The staff are very nice and accommodating. They serve breakfast and lunch, and have a nice menu with many different offerings. They cook everything fresh to order, will definitely be returning to get another Pizza Burger and explore the other options on the menu! It’s a small place, but there’s a few tables and a dining bar inside and tables available outside for dining (weather permitting) I chose to take my order to go, but it was still hot, fresh and delicious!
