Awesome place with a friendly atmosphere and great staff! Food is always good and beer is always cold. Big family size tables for large parties and 4 top tables as well as indoor and porch bar seating. Karaoke on Thursday nights and pool tables for adults as well as games for the youngsters. Kid friendly, booster seats and high chairs available! Cash only but they have and ATM inside. Great little bar like in Sweet Home Alabama

Don’t let the outside fool you one of the best hidden gems in the area always great food the pizza is excellent and drinks always cold. Always expect a crowd on the weekend but wait is worth it.

Greeted by a nice lady as soon as we entered. Gave me owner, no bs welcomed, vibes. I told her we were hungry and she confirmed that she has a solution for that.
The environment screamed the “local spot”, folks were friendly, food was simple but exactly what you wanted.
Bring cash if you’re looking to enjoy a true North Carolina grill spot.
We wish we tried the pizzas because they looked excellent. We went with all of the cholesterol favorites: hot dog, cheesy bacon fries, and the burger. Everything tasted great.
We’ll be back next time we are heading to the Zoo.

We stopped on the outlook on 49 on the way to uwharrie, and decided we were hungry. We saw this hidden gem was just around the corner and decided to try it out. It was great! Simple home style cooking and great bar food. The drinks were cheap and the service was good. Reminded me of being a little kid hanging with my dad who passed. We will 100% be back really soon!

Buddy’s is the damn best. Great food, and I eat lot all over NC and the southeast. Great portions, quality food, original recipes etc…Cold beer and the owners are the best. It feels like I’m going to eat at my momma’s kitchen.

The food and service is outstanding. BUT….the pizza is INCREDIBLE….and tastes the same as it did MANY years ago! I cannot get away from the pizza, so I have to taste other folks food that I take there! My uncle can’t get away from the cheeseburger basket, so he never gets the pizza. Cold beer? Oh yes!

I’ve been here a couple times. Good place to play pool and have a beer. We had a pizza and combo basket of appetizers. Our pizza was good, brought out hot. Nice people. If you happen to be out that way stop in for a bite.

Highly recommend this place!! Staff was friendly and prompt, beer was ice cold and hot wings and pizza were delicious. Sadly I only got a pic of the wings. Restaurant was clean and inviting, restrooms were clean and well stocked as well. Kinda off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive! They are a cash only bar but have an ATM inside if needed….
