We had an absolutely amazing time at Buddy’s Crab and Ribs! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — everything you’d hope for in a true Maryland seafood experience. The blue crabs were incredible, and our server Janelle went above and beyond to make the meal even more enjoyable.
She took the time to teach us the proper way to eat blue crab — a skill we’ll be proud to use from now on! Her patience, personality, and expertise made the entire dining experience both fun and memorable.

It is RARE that I post reviews 4 a restaurant. But Buddy’s deserve it. This was our 3rd time going but this visit was perfect. Atmosphere, warm welcome, seated immediately, server Rob was the BEST! And the food was Delicious. So much food! No small portions here. My husband & I went with 2 of our grandsons. We had our drinks, 2 appetizers, 1 appetizer and a feast for 2 (the Marylander). We could’ve had 2 more adults with us and everyone would’ve been full. Well done!!! I wish I could post the video clips.

I have been here many times before and it’s always been a great experience until today. Our waiter was Chris he made us feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable from the moment we sat down. He was rude the entire time and mumbled the whole meal. Never came to check on us or anything and before we left My husband ordered another beer and the waiter proceeded to roll his eyes at him and then at the end of the day after i proceeded to still leave a tip after the horrible service he walked away and didn’t say anything not a goodbye or thank you. We then proceeded to seek a manager and the manager did not care whatsoever. We weren’t looking to get anything out of it but an apology would’ve been nice. All he said was okay and then walked away…didn’t tell us to have a good night. I won’t be coming back here ever again. I’m very disappointed in the service. (however the two girls who were hosts at the front were very kind)

The single best rib place in the entire USA… GUARANTEED. I’ve had Ribs all over the country (ribs is my favorite food) but Buddys is hands down the single best rib spot I’ve ever had. It’s beat out California, Missouri, Texas, Florida, and more! They’re sweet, tender, and fall off the bone! I always come here on my birthday since it’s my favorite rib spot in all of the DMV. 10/10 would recommend!

We ate lunch last week (29 Dec) – immediately got seated and quickly served. Love the family atmosphere. Pricing very reasonable for the area. 2nd floor restaurant was very bright and cheery on this wintery day. Good for groups too! Highly recommend.

In the past, I was a regular here. It hasn’t changed in style, but the crowds were not there on a day before a holiday. Which is seriously concerning for me as I enjoy the food and radiance of this place.
The food was tasty, but the amount of crab in the dips was less than I remembered.
Everything was delicious, the Crabby Dip, hashbrands, and the meat did fall off the kids’ ribs.
Service was a little slow even though the place was next to empty. Which is the reason why I took away a star.

Definitely a MUST when in Annapolis! The ribs and crab were out of this world. Start with the steamed shrimp. And an entire table reserved with a full shot glass of whisky and table setting reserved for those who never came home. As a veteran, this goes beyond words. Thank you for keeping them alive.

1st time here. Parking was a challenge there is a parking garage but it was full and very hard to navigate that I was lucky on my way out of it.I found a parking spot. I got a boil which I really did like because they cut the potatoes instead of putting them in there home , so the season went completely through the potatoes. My guess had the special , which was quite a bit of food.
