We’re in Tacoma for a tournament and needed to kill some time and we’re hungry. My brother Loves chicken n waffles and he found this place. And let me tell you it was delicious!! Definitely worth coming here. The chicken was greatly seasoned and had the perfect crunch. The waffle had the perfect amount of crunchy with the perfect amount of softness. Combined it was just perfect!! Top it with the syrup and chefs kiss! Will definitely be coming back when we’re in the area. The portion is great too! Over all definitely recommend.

Driving through Tacoma, we saw this awesome review4.8 stars restaurant. There was already a line inide to order(first) as soon as opened on Satt. We followed the cashier’s recommendedation, Lemon grazed waffle(no needed syrup cuz it makes too sweet n soggy), plane butter milk and blueberry. They were good. We would go back for it, but not for the fried chicken. We had both regular and spicy children. They were thin chicken breast slices with questionable spicy seasoning. We tasted more seasoning powder than the chicken and made us surprised. Again, we would go back for the waffles , but not for the chicken.

Parked right out front, not sure if parking on the side I saw a spot and took it. When you get in there is no hostess to seat you, to the right there is a register for you to order right away then pick a table of your choice. We ordered sat down maybe 5min our food was brought out. We had the Waffle and Chicken about $16 each along with what was ACTUAL Sweet Tea amazing!
Serving Sizes are Huge! Definitely worth the coin. The owner ℹ believes was very sweet and informative. They were playing old school jams the atmosphere was pleasant and very chill. We will definitely be back! You can also do to go and I was told there is a food truck on 6th ave also!!

My daughter was wanting chicken and waffles. I saw this place and was intrigued by their variety of waffle flavors. My daughter got the chocolate chip waffles with chicken and I got the banana cream pie waffles with chicken. OMG! These were DELICIOUS! The chicken is moist and the breading is wonderfully seasoned and crispy. The waffles are delicious and the banana cream topping was perfect! My daughter loved her meal too. We will definitely be back!

After watching many fun social media posts, we finally made it into Tacoma to try the food. Yum! Yum!! Yum!!! The seasoning on the fries is divine. I ordered the two piece, hand-breaded chicken strips. Husband ordered the original chicken sandwich. Both with Buddy’s Sauce. Hot, crispy, delicious. I also appreciated the local art on display. And the humor on the hand written signs. Will return the next time we escape the Kitsap Peninsula again.

I got the strawberry shortcake waffle, original chicken and peach lemonade. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy. Waffle was super yum and didn’t have too many toppings. Lemonade had good peachy flavor but not overwhelming. Good and costumers base looked diverse which is always a good sign. Will be returning!!

We got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch waffle, cornbread waffle, and hot chicken.
The chicken is cutlets not wings, but they are breaded great and good flavor.
My wife loved her waffle, I loved mine as well.
We also got a mango lemonade which came to about $40 after tax.

I’ve not always been big on chicken and waffles, but decided to give the Red Velvet Waffle with some of the spicy chicken a try. The waffle didn’t change my pre-existing opinion on them (though it was dang tasty and they didn’t skip at all on the red velvet), but the chicken was INCREDIBLE! Crispy, spicy, flavorful, and moist, it’s some of the best chicken I’ve had on 6th Ave where the food truck was parked (and definitely some of the best I’ve had outside of Hilltop)!
The service was lovely too, with the cooks being real polite and helping give me great recommendations while giving service with a smile.
Next time you or I are looking for chicken done right, I hope we’ll both get the opportunity to swing by for a sandwich or some seasoned fries real soon!

This is an honest review never been to this place just heard about it so finally stopped.
First the cashier was great, super friendly and gave us some recommendations which we followed. We ordered the Peanut butta and Jelly with chicken, The Cheddar bay biscuit waffle with chicken, strawberry lemonade.
1. Lemonade- Great, sweet, tart 9/10
2. Cheddar bay waffle- My favorite one crispy and savory 9/10
3. Pnbj waffle- Too soft, tasted like a dressed up hotel breakfast waffle. 5/10 I liked the powdered peanut butter topping
4. The chicken was the worst breading instantly fell off, seasoned well, but looked like chicken fried chicken. Should have came with gravy and mashed potatoes. Just a thin sliced chicken breast battered and fried, 2/10
