**Review of Buddy’s Bar-B-Q, Kingston, Tennessee**
I recently had a disappointing experience at Buddy’s Bar-B-Q in Kingston, Tennessee. From the moment I walked in, I had high hopes for a great meal, but what I encountered was far from it. The brisket I was served looked as if it had been sitting out for over a week. The color was unappetizing, a ghastly green hue that immediately raised my concerns about its freshness.
In addition to the unsettling appearance, the taste was equally terrible. I took one bite and was immediately put off, as it had a foul flavor that made it impossible for me to continue eating. I’ve had plenty of brisket in my time, and this was among the worst. Feeling uneasy about the quality of the food, I decided it was best to leave the plate untouched.
It’s disheartening to see such poor food quality in a place that has the potential for great barbecue. I was hoping for a delicious meal but left feeling disappointed and regretting my choice. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Buddy’s Bar-B-Q based on this experience, and I will not be returning. I hope they can improve their food quality, as Kingston deserves better dining options.

Roane County Taxi Service
So yes we got there 15 minutes before closing time. And yes we got it for dine in. Only because I do not allow eating in my taxi. So when I ordered a combo and the cashier intensely just rings up the sandwich because they don’t want to cook french fries, that is really not cool.
This was intensely done, because when I asked where the French fries were. The cashier said. We’re fixing to close so the cook probably over looked that. And I was given a Hugh plate full of 1/2 cooked fries. I get it, I am a business owner, I like going home at closing time also. But I make sure my customers are completely satisfied before I go.

13 Dec roughly 5pm. I just ordered a Brisket sandwich. The service was smile filled and fun. The wait wasn’t long at all. I’d just grabbed my drink cup, turned around and heard my number. Wow! The brisket was a perfect 172 degrees. A very appetizing brownish black and grey with a hint of seasoning. The meat was juicy and very tasty. I’m very very happy with this order and will definitely be back for more! Buddy’s is my buddy!

The quality of the food is indicative of the price. I originally got the rib dinner but ended up having to send it back. The ribs were cooked to the booing that what little meat they had was dry and the bones were made brittle. I was inadvertently biting off chunks of rib bone trying to eat them.
The pulled pork sandwich that I ended up subbing out for the ribs was okay. A little dry but that is to be expected of fast food bbq. My wife had the brisket sandwhich and she said it was good. All in all its fir considering the price I would just advise against the ribs.

I got the #2 Reg chicken sandwich with fries and a large chocolate shake to drink, the sandwich was great but the fries where just ok but not bad, the chocolate shake was great as usual. I stopped at the Kingston, Tennessee Buddy’s and the service was very good as usual. I stop and get something to eat there at least twice a week.

Buddy’s BBQ in East Tennessee is always delicious! Located all around East TN, they are a good travel food stop. BBQ is good- mild or hot. Brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, ham are all available. Lots of sides to choose from as well as yummy desserts. Homemade ice tea & sodas. Drive through & dine in open.

We visited here for lunch with five in our party. There is wheelchair access but it is a little tight. Our orders were promptly taken and ready quickly. We all ordered the number one special pork combo that included a barbecued pork sandwich, fries and drink. The sweet tea was great as were the fries. The fries were hot as was the barbeque. The BBQ sandwich had a nice flavor yet we all thought it was a little small for the price. The restrooms were clean snd well kept. Over all it was a nice experience. Reviewed December 13, 2023.
