To be honest, we’ve picked up burgers from this place countless times because it’s so convenient—their online ordering for pickup is super fast.
The first time we tried their onion rings, they were just okay, but either that was a one-time miss or they’ve seriously improved since then. We gave them another shot and they were crispy perfection—extra crunchy on the outside with perfectly cooked onions inside.
We love their smashed-style patties (chunky ground beef with a great balance of meat and fat). My all-time favorite is still the Holy Smokes—a double cheeseburger with deep-fried jalapeños—while my husband usually goes for the double hamburger. We also tried the crispy chicken Buddha, which was surprisingly good with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat.
The only downside is that the food does lean a bit on the salty side, including both the burgers and the onion rings.
Overall, Buddha Burger delivers every time we’re craving simple, good burgers and onion rings.

I used to eat this chicken sandwich all the time, so I was very surprised when I ordered it recently and saw how different it was. The chicken was sliced so thin that the breading wouldn’t even adhere to it. As you can see in the pictures some spots have no chicken at all and it’s coming apart. It was essentially a breading sandwich instead of a chicken sandwich.
Either management has changed or they’re trying to cut costs, but this is not the way to do it. The quality has clearly gone downhill. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be coming back.

And let me tell you they overcome everything going against them.
This is THE BEST burger in Pflugerville (Which isnt saying much) but it’s a top 5 Fast Casual burger joint in the Austin Metro.
I am extremely impressed. Keep it up.

I have eaten her twice this week, and I love it. I haven’t had Poutine since 2016 in Canada. I found out about this place from a coworker, and I’m hooked.
I’ve gotten the Poutine twice, and it’s basic as there’s so many versions, but there version are the classic. The best then there onion rings got A little pinch to it as it’s freshly Battered and you can taste the difference. The double cheese burger they got that using grilled cheese as buns. Artery clog waiting to happen but it’s too amazing to not eat and Indulge. The cheese fries I got last time was goo’s. I’m curious to explore the menu more as last time I ordered the employee left a note that they put so much Attentiveness and care and they have my support and I’ll be bragging about them to everyone I see at my jobs because this place is a hidden delicious gem. I love it!

Was in the area and needed a burger for lunch. I was not disappointed. It was the best gas station food I’ve had in a while. Their burger was great, we also got Cajun fries and a chocolate milkshake! Will definitely be back, it was a hot spot.

Unless I’m on the tail end of a long road trip, eating dinner in a gas station is not what I consider to be a welcomed experience. Buddha Burger completely changes the game. Their burgers are absolutely fantastic! The patties are cooked to perfection and have just the right amount of char around the edges. We ordered fries and onion rings. The onion rings have a light Cajun seasoning and are delicious. The fries were good, but I prefer mine to be slightly crispier. I don’t hold that against Buddha Burger since that comes down to personal preference. We made one of the meals a combo and got a salted caramel milkshake. It. Was. Delicious! The staff was incredibly nice and checked on us to see if our meal met our expectations. We will absolutely be back! *PRO TIP* Go to the menu page on their website and scroll all the way down for the Forbidden Menu. I had their spicy burger, The Awakening, and it was awesome!

The burger was OK I wouldn’t say great. It would’ve been a 10 out of 10 if they would’ve use some salt and pepper I do not like a bland burger. A little bit of salt and pepper would’ve jumped it up a little. I did go across the street and grab salt packets because they did not have salt packets so shout out to 711 also For helping me with the salt packets or I genuinely would’ve only ate the fries. Other than that I will try again to see if maybe they do add salt and pepper. Maybe they just forgot this one time I don’t know, but it has great potential.

Had a friend take me here yesterday for the first time and I was not disappointed! The service was amazing and they made sure my first experience was amazing! The burger was top tier! They recommended the California special and it exceeded my expectations! Had to even get another one to go lol. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be coming back!

Lots of attention has been given to this unique gas station restaurant as of late. I’ve heard from multiple places that Buddha Burger is the best burger in Austin/Round Rock. After visiting last night, I’ve got to agree, but it’s close with Gold Burger in Georgetown.
These are your perfect smash burgers. So fresh and grilled with the perfect amount of crispy edges. They are messy but so delicious.
We ate inside, but it appears most of their business comes via the delivery apps. There is a good vibe in this gas station and they have some of the most eclectic items for sale. From perfumes to Japanese chips. The whole place doesn’t make sense but it works. I wish the decor better matches the quirkiness of the operation. Would also be nice to see a wider selection of unique candies to match the rest of their offerings.
Let’s be real, it’s about the Burgers here and they do it right.

The food was surprisingly amazing!! the burger was 10-10 five guys can’t compare whoever made the burger was the GUY!! The chicken sandwich was way better than Dave’s hot chicken and the milkshake taste like 2002 chick fila milkshake!! It’s a must try hole in the wall spot in the area!!
