This is near a friend’s house and he suggested it for lunch today. It was just past noon and they weren’t super busy. We were seated immediately and Daniel took excellent care of us during the meal. He had solid suggestions and kept the drinks flowing.
It is a small menu but it is done well. There are definitely others items I want to try based on my first experience. I had eggs, bacon, grits and a biscuit. Everything was cooked to perfection and the grits really stand out – a lot of love and butter in there.
Then came the Baklava Cinnamon Roll, and let me tell you, it’s dangerous in the best way. Flaky, warm, nutty, buttery, and just sweet enough. If you go and don’t order it, you’re doing brunch wrong.
For my main dish, I had the Avocado Toast with a side of buttery grits, and everything was seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered the basic breakfast with the Hashbrown Casserole, and that was packed with flavor — nothing “basic” about it. We shared the sweet potato pancakes which were delicious.
The atmosphere is exactly what you want for a comfort‑food brunch: a cute little diner vibe with warmth, charm, and that “sit down and relax” energy that makes the food taste even better.
What really sets Budder’s apart is the combination of bold flavor and totally reasonable prices. It feels like a hidden gem that hasn’t realized it should be charging more (but please don’t!) lol
Kurt, the owner, is genuinely one of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll meet. He checked on us personally and made sure we were enjoying everything. Our server, Chandler, was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and on point the whole time.
Budder’s is officially on my must‑return list. If you love brunch with big flavor, great people, and a cozy diner atmosphere, this place is a winner. I loved it so much, I made a TikTok.
Took a chance on the kebobs which I’m really picky about, but it was good. Regular breakfast brunch menu, also servex acai bowl for vegetarians.
Talk to daughter loved the blueberry pancakes.
Come here for a good experience.
The menu is the perfect size. Plenty of options without overwhelming the customer (or the kitchen). Eggs, griddle (pancakes/French toast), sandwiches. Food was served warm and flavorful. Great spices used!
Pro tip: if you can’t make it on the weekend and go on a Monday ask your server if they have any of the cinnamon rolls left over. They only serve these Saturday or Sunday but we were treated to one on Monday. Caramel, cinnamon, nuts and a perfectly baked roll (see my pic).
They say first impressions are everything, and they certainly made a great impression for us. We will be back.
