Always fresh and homemade food on the buffet! I haven’t yet ordered off the menu, we just go when they have their after church buffet and we’ve also been on saturdays. Our favorite place! Cooks, servers, and waitresses are so nice and treat you like you’re a guest at their house. My daughter loves everything they serve but loves the fried chicken the most! Some of these reviews are saying that it’s run down and dirty but our tables and booths have always been wiped down and clean and sanitized. I’ve never felt that it was dirty except for maybe the trays sometimes but I don’t eat off the tray. It’s an old country cafe and that’s what we love about it.

We were there for breakfast, my eggs was over cooked. The hash brown was burnt and gravy was watery. Ate less than half òf my breakfast. There was a roach walking on side of the table by the ketchup and salt and pepper shakers.. talked with the cashier , all he said was sorry about that. He didn’t offer to take anything off the bill. Will definitely not go back there.

I go here now for my meat and three bc Kathys doesn’t have a good cook anymore. The food is ok, the older short blonde head lady preparing to go plates. Is simply rude, she refused to fix my plate and totally ignored me standing there bc I was on the phone. She needs better customer service skills. Some people work by phone and I was working and grabbing lunch at the same time. Which should never interfere with her doing her job. HELLO, WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TODAY!?! Would have been more appropriate regardless of what a customer is doing. Especially if they are looking at you waiting to be acknowledged.

Had bacon and gravy and biscuits.. not very good. Bacon tasted weird, and I didn’t even finish my gravy and biscuits. On the menu, it shows gravy with sausage and then it showed regular gravy and biscuits. I wanted regular gravy and biscuits, if I wanted my sausage inside my gravy I would have said so, of course, of course, I didn’t eat it all. Bacon tasted like it was soaked in Fatback or something. Prices too high for what we got.

Well to be fair visited closer to 2 pm The waitresses were ready to get outta there, we barely got a drink outta the gals there, friendly enough though. The menu wasn’t exactly what was on the board actually the staff barely spoke to us. Smile A little ladies it brings makes a better atmosphere.
