We were doing a impromptu road trip and wound up in Kentucky.

Cute BBQ joint just off 65 in Cave City, just 7.8 miles to Mammoth Cave National Park welcome center. Our server Terri was terrific and our food was delicious! We tried the brisket, cornbread and two sides and the Buckey Pie ( pulled pork and baked beans on cornbread, with a side of coleslaw) – oh so much food! The cornbread is more of a cornbread pancake – tasty! The meats were delicious, the smoked cabbage was terrific and the white beans were simple beans and broth. Clean restaurant and restrooms. We’ll be back!

The food was delicious. I went for it all just to be able to sample most of the menu all in one sitting.

We were passing through town and wanted some BBQ. It’s a nice restaurant with cool decor. The service was great. They found a spot quickly for our big group. The portions were very large, which made for 2 meals. However, the food was kind of bland. I ordered the bake potato filled with pork, cheese, bacon, and sour cream. The BBQ they offer, sweet or spicy, didn’t seem to be that different. My wife’s brisket didn’t really have that much flavor to it. The corn bread was a pretty big letdown. The kids’ chicken nuggets were pretty good. I would try other places before this one next time.

Great bbq! We have been here several times. This time we got “The Dirty Double” (picture attached). It was DELICIOUS! It fed my family of 4 with some leftover! The sweet tea is also the best! If you love BBQ then this is the place for you!! Service is always prompt and friendly, too!

Probably the best bbq in cave city area. Loved the the bbq so much got 4 bottles of sauce to go. Try the sampler it’s more than enough for 2 people to share you get a little of everything and get 4 side dishes too for around 30 bucks. I wouldn’t leave without a piece of pie though you won’t regret it.

Mounds of mediocre food that is reasonably priced.

We all liked the brisket. We did not like the chicken or porkchop. Tasted like turkey oddly. Pulled pork was great.

Decent BBQ joint to get your cravings satisfied if at or passing by Cave City. The barbecued meats are flavorful, even without adding the sauce. Hope they provide more choices of sauce (they just have 2, a spicy and sweet one). The cornbread (more of like a cornbread pancake) was delicious, and so were the baked beans. Would not be classified as a top tier place but we were satisfied and I would recommend it if you’re in the area. They have some Elvis and Marilyn Monroe themes inside!
