Best 1 lb burger ever! All the food is great, but that burger reminds me of the old come back in from Melrose park. Big charred masterpiece. I love all the old santa fe speedway memorabilia.

1 of the Greatest Hamburgers in area! The Bucky burger is half pound patty on a garlic butter toasted brioche bun. (Add $1.50 for cheese). Comes with regular fries and col slaw. Buck’s Vegetable Beef soup is homemade, served daily is quite good, will order again.
Gave only 4 out of 5 stars because the chili was more like a watery soup, maybe a bad batch but avoid ordering the crock of “Millers chili.”
Lots of parking. Extra dining rooms for larger parties. Daily specials are offered with Nice staff.

Was just looking for a different place to eat. Needed to break the normal rotation. Found this through a search and was well pleased. Nice causal establishment with friendly crowd. NASCAR themed with good selection of grilled options. Will remember if back in the area

Old time establishment. Frog legs sauteed in butter were delicious. Fresh perch and walleye. Soup or salad and two sides with dinner at very reasonable prices.

One of my favorite places to stop by when I am shopping nearby in Countryside. I like sitting at the bar the people there are so friendly and the food is fantastic. It’s a cool old school place tucked away in a small neighborhood.

Ordered the walleye blackened – an extra charge. Order was brought out pan fried. When I pointed out the mistake, they took the plate into the kitchen and returned it with blackening spices sprinkled on the same fish (as well as on the vegetables and potato). They didn’t attempt to even fix the order.

The other fish dinners were prepared well.

Went after work, location is hilarious cause it’s smack in the neighborhood, houses all around, server was very friendly and welcoming, sat outside at their outdoor patio, then went inside to eat at the bar, local customers were all there and were very friendly. I had the Mini Burger Sliders, they were really good and so were the onion rings. Great pace to hang out and meet friends!

Onion Rings and Cheese Curds were out of this world. As was the salted caramel cheese cake (best I’ve tasted!). The servers went above and beyond to make sure the guests were satisfied. Prices are reasonable and there is a wide menu. I’m looking forward to future visits!

Wait was far too long, nearly 10 minutes to place our drink order – then another 15-20 to place food order. Arrived and was seated just after 5:20, didnt walk out til after 7pm.
Food was good, table was clean, runners bring out orders so they come to the table hot. Still the overwhelming wait tells us there several others places nearby to grab a good burger.
