I would not recommend this place. We were in town for a fishing trip and were recommended this place by our guides. We go to this place and the bartender immediately asks for our ID’s which we hand them over. Bartender immediately starts questioning them and giving us a hard time about them even though no one in the group was younger than 27. The bartender then hands over one of the ID’s to a patron at the bar to have him look at it and he passes it over to another person. Very unprofessional place and we will not be coming back. When we got the ID back one of the patrons tried to fight us. Overall terrible experience and I hope this place shuts down soon!

Lucky to have lived in the beautiful Hackberry for a year. This bar checked all my boxes – jukebox, pool table, ice cold beer, great service, and friendly folks to hang with. The owners Missy and Brad were very friendly and always welcoming. I miss life on the bayou and playing pool with mr black. Cheers yall

Great out of the way local bar. Locals have always been friendly. We came here last year when we stayed in Holly Beach. Glad to see this place hasn’t changed.

Not friendly to out of towners. Local patron was rude and wanted to be aggressive and fight, they don’t have food. Not worth stoping. Bartender was nice but as soon as the other customers started making rude comments, we left. Do not waste your time. It is dirty, Will never come back to support this place. By the way, only 4 customers were there, Place can not afford to be rude to people.

This place does not like out of towners. From the moment we walked in the “regulars” were not friendly and somewhat aggressive. One so mad wanted to fight so we left. Do not go here!!!
