Good spot, high quality food, clean, and friendly staff. Went for breakfast, very excited to go back for lunch. The bucks burrito was massive and I didn’t realize how large the breakfast menu was.

Atmosphere and food was fantastic. We were a group of 4 and had the Mac & Cheese, 2 Cowboy burgers and a pulled pork sandwich. We also ordered a side of onion rings for the table. Food was fast and hot and absolutely delicious!! Looking forward to going back for breakfast!! Absolutely worth the cost for this local business!! You should definitely try this place out.

Went here on a whim the other week, as I was taking the back road to another restaurant in So. Reno, coming from Carson, but this place caught my eye with the frontage sign and hadn’t personally been, so made a hard u-turn to check it out for lunch.
The place was clean and the girl working the front area and waiting on folks was extremely attentive and helpful, let alone friendly and enjoyed the fact I asked questions about the menu and food, before having ordered. She took no offense to my questions about what things were in the food (no, not allergies, just picky on my end). 🙂
Menu looked great, for a smaller place, had plenty of options, but not so many options they’re wasting food and not able to keep up with the consistency of having too many options.
Just grabbed the lunch special, which at the time, was a Gyros sandwich and fries. Both were excellent and met expectation, so no regrets there.
Refills and condiments, no issues. Place is a little gem there in Washoe.
Look forward to returning to try their breakfast and or burgers, etc.

We ordered the Parmesan garlic burger and the Philly Cheese Steak. The burger was handmade, and delicious with the encrusted Parmesan cheese and the Philly was true to form with the softest roll, savory peppers and onions, provolone and tasty thin sliced steak that made me so happy with the home made kettle style chips. I’ve loved their service and good affordable eats!
Also, if the bread pudding is in stock with the bourbon cream sauce, don’t think twice- just get it. I’m still wanting more.

Buck’s is a great little place and a nice addition to Washoe Valley.
I tried the fish and chips and it was good, hot and crispy.
We also tried the cheeseburger and it was good but I still think it’s a little pricey.
Friendly staff and quick pick up time which was nice too.

My wife and I live in Reno and frequently make the easy drive to Buck’s. We generally have breakfast or lunch on the weekends. The food is great and well prepared. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The prices represent the current economy and are fair. We highly recommend Buck’s.

My wife and I had breakfast there late in the morning. My wife said her hash browns and the bacon were not cooked completely, and the biscuit crumbled too easily. The scrambled eggs were just OK. She said her caffeine-free coffee was tasteless. I loved the Huevos Washoe. It was mildly spicy, very creative and tasty, and I would order it again. My caffeinated coffee was also pretty tasteless; adding cream did not help it. Service was good, the prices are reasonable, and the breakfast part of the menu offers a comfortable variety of choices.

Was there like a month ago with four friends, I had the burger and it was really great. My friends were not as happy with their choices – portobello mushroom, cesar salad, fish and chips and turkey sandwich. It was not horrible but the owner came and said “you will not find anything like this menu anywhere” – and that was not quite true… they had quite recently opened and was very open to feedback, in fact they asked for it which seemed more humble than that statement. It would have gotten a higher rating if the prices wasn’t so high – 16 usd for a burger (only the burger – no side).
I will go back though… the burger was great and I heard they lowered the prices, hopefully this time it’ll include a side.

Had an awesome dinner! Such nice folks running the place, and everything was delicious, especially the epic German pretzel and all its dipping sauces, and great burgers and wings! Awesome to finally get such a good place to eat out in Washoe!

This was the second time ordering from Bucks. We were very hopeful this would be a great place on the nights we didn’t want to cook.
Pork was old and my chicken sandwich was soaked with oil. Fries were good, but I counted 7 on my tray.
