Incredibly Food! Nowadays, eating out is really hit or miss. Someone at my hotel suggested Buckhorn so I ordered food to go. I’m so glad I did. Everything was delicious and fresh. The Tri-Tip is phenomenal! So juicy and delicious, the Caesar salad was great, dressing is made in house clearly. The fried onions! order the fried onions for a starter, or dessert! It was all so good that I had to call them with my complements after my meal. The staff seam very friendly and nice. I’m sure everything they make is great so I will be a repeat patron. We started going to the 14th st location a few months ago and the service from Mathew is Exceptionally Awesome Every single time! He Has the best customer service skills that I’ve ever seen, he’s the best waiter we’ve ever had anywhere! And he always checks on us. I look so forward to coming to dinner here and we are here probably three times a week. He deserves a lot of kudos.

I have eaten at two other Buckhorn locations (the original in Winters and the one at Palladio in Folsom). This one by far has the least atmosphere (it feels like a cafeteria and the seating is shared with a couple other restaurants). But the food did not disappoint and the service was fantastic. I enjoyed the bbq bacon burger and sweet potato fries.

Having visited another location of this business, I had no qualms at all about coming here. The food is exactly the same (excellent) and the service was very nice and prompt. Had the pulled pork sandwich (so good that it doesn’t need any bbq sauce) with tots (perfectly seasoned) and slaw (one of the few that I voluntarily order because I know that it’s good.) I’d be very happy to come back again. The lunch crowd was thinner than I would have thought, but we were a bit early so maybe that’s why. Pricey? Depends on what and how much of it you order. Worth the price? Oh Heck Yeah!
