The food and services are ok. It was better when it was Highway 55. I have tried Buck’s twice. The first time (during the day), the service was decent, but the food was a bit ok. Yesterday, we came to eat around 6:30-6:45, and there was no one in the restaurant. The food was not as good as it used to be, and the service was a bit lacking. There were more young people running the shop, and no one seemed to be in charge. I am not sure if this had something to do with it or not. I just expected more I suppose.

Went today for lunch, ordered a chopped bbq sandwich combo. I’ll start by saying, the staff is wonderful! The ambience is cool and old school. Loved the Alabama decor!
The food however was a different story. The fries were almost under cooked and had no seasoning. The sandwich only had minimal bbq on it, the coleslaw was blah and the meat itself tastes more like ground beef than pulled pork. No flavor at all.

Service was fast and hospitable. The pork chop was well seasoned and delicious, and our burgers were good with very fresh veggies. Will be coming back. Nice little diner with great staff and a welcoming owner.

We stopped in for a quick snack and MAN they deliver. Even my picky eater loved it. This place is the best. SUCH a GREAT small town business. The people that work there are super friendly too. Always checking in on us, making sure our bellies and drinks were full. It’s a fantastic place to go. Make sure you come here to support! Support PEOPLE like THIS, not corporations! You get better tasting food, better experience AND more food for your dollar. This place is a gem.

We have now been to Buck Diner twice – what a great little spot for a quick and delicious bite! We’ve had the burgers and the chili dogs and both are delicious. The staff is always super friendly and make great suggestions on what to order. Overall a really great addition to the Raeford area!

Please stop by here if you ever going through raeford. You will love it! I just stop by here for the first time today and i promise ya, i will never pass by here again without stopping. I had the fried pork chop plate. They dont use flour, bruce fried it naked and it was da bomb!! My wife had the philly and she usually picky about folks who use the steak em meat. One bite and she said, this aint no steakem meat here. Bruce gave me a sample of the chicken salad. And that will be the next item i get the very next time i come through. It was do damn good. Fried pickles was freaking great. Totally blew our minds with the taste.

The food, owner, staff and atmosphere are TOP NOTCH!!! You can tell they put their heart and soul into what they do! You have to try their BBQ and cheesesteaks!! You will NOT be disappointed! Upon entering the staff is smiling and welcoming to the diner. Very helpful making sure your order is to your liking. I am going their a few times a week trying something different off the menu.
