Let me first start by saying Laten made my experience a 5/5. My fiance and I came for dinner and as tourist were a bit nervous about the price and quality. However, Laten was amazing at first explaining he was still learning to be a server and if we had any questions to direct them to his mentor. Despite this, he answered our questions perfectly and gave us amazing guidance when we needed it. The food was good (not bad, not amazing but good) but Laten made our experience AMAZING. Would reached requesting him as your server because he is not only capable but genuine and sincere and that’s what I care for more than any meal. Mussels were good and burger was good too!

Rush was a fantastic waiter. We started off with beverages. Appetizers consisted of Shrimp and Artichoke dip on soft pita chips and a Shrimp Cocktail. Mains were a delicious medium rare NY sirloin steak and a Tuscany chicken dish. Dessert was an incredibly moist Strawberry Shortcake with fresh strawberries and blueberries on the plate. Overall a fantastic dinner. I plan on coming back for another dinner or breakfast.

It was a quiet night during a snowstorm, so the crowd was small and we had very attentive, fast service, so I don’t know what would be typical.
Wine list was diverse enough and staff were able to advise and recommend, while menu was of limited size but they do very well on what they do.
They were also willing to move things along quickly when they knew we had event tickets, but were totally fine when we decided to linger and just enjoy the ambiance and final drink.

Pretty good atmosphere, very clean and classy. However, I don’t think I would pay 9 dollars for a bowl of lucky charms. Its overpriced with not so great quality. Got a much better experience at the Tim Hortons across the street.

Buchanans is located in the Doubletree Hotel which is very convenient since we were staying at this hotel.
We had a dinner and breakfast here, the food was pretty good.
They had a musician play during dinner which was nice.
The salmon was well cooked but the steak, although a large size, was on the rare side even for me…

The service was excellent, Fantastic service, beautiful atmosphere, and incredibly professional staff. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and they accommodated our limited time perfectly without compromising on food quality.

We had a great experience dinning at Buchanans. The highlight was our server who took exceptional care of us. He personally ensured our requests for modifications were fulfilled. The food was yummy and we enjoyed everything we ordered, from the beer on tap to start off the meal, to the desserts. It was everything we hoped for on a Sunday night dinner with a kid, who was fully engaged in the activity our server provided, and whose food arrived super quickly anyway, so, thank you kitchen staff! This place is a hidden gem and we look forward to dinning there again someday.

There should be more people eating in this restaurant. Our server was attentive and helpful. They offer free bread before your meal. The beet salad was large and very fresh and we were able to substitute goat cheese for cheddar cheese. The pickerel was fresh and tasty. It came with rice, vegetables and spicy relish. The salad was only $12 and the pickerel was $28. Very reasonable for a restaurant in a hotel. Been to this restaurant several times and we will be back. The restaurant did not charge a special tax/fee unlike other restaurants in Niagara Falls.

It came with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes. We were full after the meal and unfortunately we didn’t have any room for their desserts. Our server Vikas was friendly. He came back to our table a few times to give us more bread and water.
