We stumbled to Buca in Roseville after Christmas light show. Wow, our server. Tanja, was so attentive and recommended a special with chicken Alfredo, garlic bread, and the Cesar salad. Tanja always checked in with us to ensure the food and drinks were filled. Thank you for having such an attentive and professional server.

We were originally seated at a regular table and I expressed interest in the chefs table. Tanja was our server and she immediately went to see if she could get us seated there. She made it happen and it did not disappoint. She was a pronominal server, on top of it all. Being in the kitchen was a great experience that I’ve wanted to do for years. The chefs were Edgar and Ervin. They did a fantastic job. Wonderful family evening.

We always have a good time, and the pasta sauces are delicious, but it’s absolutely outrageous that for two people to order a salad and pasta for dinner was over $100. I highly recommend you rethink your salads. We ordered the Caesar for $27 — the lettuce was not fresh, edges mangled and browning, the dressing was clearly not made in house, and the crutons are awful and clearly old or purchased. If you’re going to offer the Caesar for nearly $30, the dressing should be made freshly and from scratch, and there’s really no excuse for not making your own croutons when you are a restaurant that serves (what we hope is freshly baked) bread to the table.
We will be back, but it is definitely hard to accept how much we paid for dinner, especially that salad — horrible, like a bagged Caesar from the discount rack.

My son took me here for my birthday. We sat at the chefs table in the kitchen. We had the best experience! Tanja was our server and she exceeded every expectation. She was so attentive and sweet. Our chefs were Edgar and Ervin and they didn’t disappoint. Everyone contributed to a wonderful evening for my family and I. We will be going back.

This was our first time as a family eating here. The portions are quite large, even the small sizes. My two teenage sons and I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken and chicken parmigiana. It was definitely enough just for the three of us. My daughter ordered off the kids menu and the serving sizes were quite generous. The server was very nice but we had to ask often for things such as bread and water because she had forgotten. We happened to arrive before it was busy with many empty tables but still had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our food. We enjoyed the atmosphere. There is a lot to look at on the walls. The quality of the food was very flavorful and good portion sizes. The women’s restroom smelled horrible. I don’t know what was causing it but it smelled as though something was rotting.

I was excited when I finally made my way here after hearing about it from friends. I came with my spouse earlier this evening and we were a little disappointed with the service. Right from the time we walked in, we were passed over by a group that came after we did (we had made reservations, they were walk in clients) the host did not bother to ask who came first.
Once we were seated, our server took our drinks order and walked away without asking if we were ready ot order for food even though we were ready to do so. Drinks came and were set on the table (no straws and my drink order was wrong) I had a question to ask her and voila! She walked away (with a promise to return) to attend to another group that also walked in after we were seated. She was gone for about 15 mins. The food was average but I was hoping it would compensate for terrible service.
We tried to request for modifications because im Vegan, but our server made us feel we were complicating everything even though we were trying to make what we thought were reasonable requests. (Can dish x come without the bacon?)
We most definitely won’t be returning. Thanks.

Our first visit today. Our waitress was Tanja, she was extremely sweet! Exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu, and took the time to go over it. We ordered The Apple Gorgonzola salad with chicken and the salmon with spaghetti. We will definitely order the salad again. It was phenomenal! We can’t wait to come back.
