I loved this place so much. I live in the greater boston area and there is not a single restaurant like this that I’ve come across. I love that it feels like you went over to a friend’s house for a cookout. I loved the unlimited sides, I loved that I took my sandwich home in tin foil and not a box. I loved the jukebox! The food was great, the guy at the counter was super sweet and funny. This place is very special. I really recommend it if you’re in the area

So one of my friends kept going to this restaurant and posted pictures of all the fabulous wings.. and on Wednesday they got .50 cent wings!!!! Each Wednesday it seems they have special flavor of Wing as well ..
Of course I was naturally drawn to the place with the name Bubs… My white HHR name is Bubs . Bubs the tank. Lol
So finally I made the leap of food faith and met up with Tim and another friend Jon as well. It’s about 50ish mins from my house and it’s Soo worth it ..
For 10 dollars I got 15 wings .. but it gets better .. Bubs provides all you can eat (3 plate max) sides buffet. Cold and hot. I lovee the collard greens. Also I tried some pickled veggies and coleslaw. ( Kept it more low carb).
Also I normally get sauce on the side and I decided to try the bacon maple sauce. And the special Alfredo sauce as well. Which everything was beyond good. I think this has been the best deal for the amount of food around.
I will be returning on Wednesdays and Friday has smoked Prime Rib special as well.
The place itself is charming BBQ themed hole in wall. Def loving the vibe.

Look, for a place in the middle of nowhere (no offense to the area as it’s beautiful country side) the service is friendly, the place is small inside but it has space outside for seating.
The food though, it’s what gives the 4 star, we had French fries and beans for side, and we had the brisket and roasted chicken. The sides were very good and the meat we all agreed it could taste better. It’s by no means bad it juts could be more flavorful m. It feels like what gives it flavor is sauce and the flavor of barbecue shouldn’t come from sauce but the meat instead.
Overall, a satisfying experience and we’d recommend it. Come support a local

All the sides looked 4 days old skimmed over and about half full. Tried beans and collard greens terrible not the same. No beer on tap anymore. No silverware they had to buy plastic forks next door. Beef brisket tuff. Hamburger was tuff and chewy with grisil. Onion rings dark brown from cooking in old oil. Won’t be in business to much longer it was terrible

This is the best little hole in the wall for BBQ. Ordering a main dish gets you access to the little buffet style sides, meaning you get to pick what sides and how much you have. I filled up a plate with just sides and was full before the most the main course was ready.

I haven’t left a review in a long time anywhere but this place was so well worth doing so! The food was amazing. My family and I were obsessed with the pulled chicken and hush puppies. I loved how settle the Mac n cheese tasted too!

Pretty disappointed. I used to love this place as a kid. Brisket meal and 3 orders of fries (pictured in 1 to-go box)
for my kids for $45 will not feed 2 kids. Haven’t been here in 15 years and thought we would give it another chance. Went in to pick up our food and saw the self serve side bar a disgusting mess. Very turned off… we won’t be back and will never recommend.

Brisket, Cajun grilled shrimp, potato salad… where to start. Bub’s been around for a while and it delivers.

I am so sorry to say that we were not satisfied. The building has seen better days and is immediately off putting from pulling into the driveway. Christmas lights still up (but falling off the sign), for example.
We decided to give it a chance, but we ended up wasting $75 dollars on 3 meals and 2 extra sides. The chicken tenders were clearly of the frozen variety and very hard. The brisket was just big chunks of fatty and chewy meat and not even on the bun- just kind of tossed around in the Styrofoam. I will be honest, I didn’t even try the pulled pork we ordered. The buns for the sandwiches were probably the lowest quality available through Sysco- soggy, not toasted, and totally flat. The rice came to us in a plastic tub with a hazy piece of saran wrap loosely over top. Not appetizing at all.
I’ve worked at BBQ places in the past and don’t expect 5 star dining. A bit of greasy, sloppy, bbq full of flavor, and made with good quality ingredients is alright by us…but this was something different.
The gentleman at the counter was polite and friendly.
