It is a no frills, sit down restaurant that you will get a lot of food, great service, and nothing unneeded. While we didn’t like all parts of our meal, it did not take away from the overall rating. The things that worked, worked really well. The chicken fried chicken was absolutely fantastic. The open face meatloaf was also great. The burger was over cooked, and the kebab was a bit bland but the veggies were really good. Worth checking out for sure!

If you are looking for prim and proper this is definitely not the place for you. If you’re looking for delicious food with a small town feel make sure you stop by. From the drinks to the dinners everything was excellent. Steaks have a smoked taste with a tender texture. Fish was fresh tasting with a perfectly fried crust. Will we go back, no. The place looks like it has never been cleaned. If the dining room and porch look anything like their kitchen….I’ll pass.***Update…We went here for a steak dinner and this time we sat inside. I have attached two new photos. Please note the difference in the color of the floor. It’s “clean” under the benches where they apparently store their potatoes for an unknown amount of time. Service was with a grunt and a smirk. The place is filthy. We were sat near the bathrooms and I can not imagine what kind of germ infestation was happening in them, but from what I could see, they to were in desperate need of a deep clean. Best of luck to you if you choose to eat/drink there.

Walked in was seat by the door by hostess and main isle asked to move to one of the 10 empty tables and they would not accommodate to move to a more comfortable seating in the restaurant so I asked the waiter he told hostess and told us we had to stay there so we left. Think a little accommodating would keep a customer happy with 10 open tables. Know the owner do not appreciate that lose of business. May never return with that kind of service.

Steaks had absolutely no seasoning of any kind including salt. This used to be a great place for steaks but not anymore. The salad is not as good as it used to be. Mine was filled with big chunks of tough lettuce pieces and the dressing tasted cheap out of a bottle with so much of it you couldn’t see the salad itself.
