Discovered this gem walking around the strip at Murrells Inlet – cute little spot to eat outside and enjoy some good views. You can sit right on the water! Great selection of drinks and delicious food. I got the shrimp & my husband got a burger. Highly recommend the honey croissants for a sweet treat! Looking forward to coming back this summer!

Great food and great atmosphere. J Peters Seafood and Bar is where the food comes from. It is right beside Bubba’s and has less of a beach boardwalk and more regular restaurant feel. Bubba’s has a large outdoor patio and the inside has a bar and seating that stays open when the weather is nice. Only complaint is that they seem not to have enough wait staff but it wasn’t that much of a wait and the server was extremely nice and accommodating!

We went there to see Johnny White play. He was excellent. The blackened chicken Alfredo was very good too. Molly did an excellent job serving as well.

Atmosphere was fine I ordered the crab say in half of a bowl I ate least five bites of shells. Told the server and she comes back to say that’s normal. Called to ask a manager and he also said that was normal and gad an attitude! The manager could have fixed the situation easily! Eating shells means a lazy staff. Ive worked in seafood for 8 years and that’s just being lazy. Shrimp was great and soup could have been! Sadly we won’t be back. Too many to chose from in that area!

most wonderful spot to eat! we stopped here after our dolphin tour at the crazy sister marina, and i wish we knew about this place sooner! our server Jessica B was amazing, she went above and beyond for all of our needs! we got the house burger, fried shrimp platter, and chicken tenders platter and we all believe our meals were the best we have had the years we have came out. super great pricing & the drinks were potent!

Sunday lunch got us once again heading to Murrells Inlet and visiting one of the many eateries lining the Marshwalk. Rustic, vibrant fish camp shanty with open beamed ceiling, full service bar, fireplace, live music and an open patio facing the Inlet and Goat Island. It is really an extended porch of J Peters Grill and Bar next door, as menu and food come from there and named after local folk hero Bubba Love. (See the life size statue of him out front.) Selective menu of shareables, soups and salads, sandwiches and seafood, steaks, chicken and ribs. Always a seafood connoisseur when visiting the inlet, I decided on trying out their house burger. A thick, hand made patty with all the fresh toppings of lettuce and tomato, pickles, cheese at an added cost and a good serving of seasoned fries. Burger was juicy, more than I could eat and reasonable priced. Loved the open concept as a steady breeze and overhead fans kept the air moving and the sights and sounds of the inlet and the live goats on the island played out right in front of you. Food was slow in coming, as you not only contend with fellow patrons on the porch but all that sit inside. But service was friendly, the day was beautiful and the food commendable.
