Traveling and passing through and decided to stop and grab something to eat. We just missed the breakfast, which they stop serving at 10am. Very clean and very friendly! Probably one of the best customer services experiences in a long while! Orderd the chicken fried chicken….and it was the best I have ever had. The white cream gravy was perfect. Definitely marking this one on the map to hit up next time we are in the area.

Well I was in town handling some business, and we’ll come lunch time I starting looking for some food and stumbled on the place on the edge of town. Pulled up, walked in and ordered a burger with all the veggie and fries with a coke.

I heard about the burgers and was in the area. I bought one but didnt eat it until the next day. IT WAS GREAT, JUST IMAGINE HOW IT WOULD’VE TASTED IF I’D ATE IT THE SAME DAY!!! I’m going back for the big monster burger after I heal from a visit at the dentist office.

We had takeout on the 27 July 2022. They were not busy. The chicken fried steak was overcooked. The crust broke off in chunks when cutting was attempted. The plastic knife vould not compete with the toughness of the steak. Difficult to chew even for me with all my natural teeth. The steak was cheap, It was cut too thin and not across the grain. Even though it had been run through a tenderizer, it did not help the sinewy texture of the steak. It was useless to even attempt. I ate the undercooked fried okra and the roll.

The food was terrible. The chicken fried steak was all batter and very little steak. And the macaroni and cheese was bitter. I couldn’t eat it. I threw it out. Their food use to be really good. I dont know what has happened but I won’t go back. Not anytime soon for sure

A true gem. Local made sausage and good soul food. The beef tips and rice taste like they were made by family and the turnip greens were hearty and not bitter in the least. I can’t wait to come back
