Stopped for lunch. Tenderloin was huge and delicious. Waitress was okay. Didn’t check back with us much. Seemed like she might have been new and learning. The place is really nice. Great bourbon selection.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast today. The waitress/ bartender didn’t even look up when we took our seats at the bar. We asked for menus and she acted like we were being a pain, no smile. Very distracted by other people at the bar. We decided to move to the back dining area and ordered the breakfast buffet. Oh my it was cold, only 3 items out and the hot bar table wasn’t plugged in. The waitress was hard to flag down and when we got her attention she said, ” I can put it in the microwave. K waited at least 5 minutes to get my plate back, and we had to remind her she hadn’t returned it. There were only 6 men at the bar and most of them only had coffee. The cook came out carrying a couple of pans of items thst were already cool. The waitress never came around to asl us if we needed anything and never smiled, as well as the older lady cooking. If this place advertises a breakfast buffet, they need to have more food ready and turn on the hot units to keep the food warm. It costed us almost 30 bucks for 2 meals and 2 sodas. We were very disappointed in the service, food and the disregard for making sure as a customer that were taken care of and made a priority. We won’t be back.

3 visits & 3 great experiences.
First visit was a random breakfast stop & the breakfast pizza was amazing.
I talked it up enough that we got a group of 3 families (6 adults, 6 kids 11yo-5months) to go for dinner. We got a variety of apps, 2 pizzas, some frog legs & some sandwiches. The waiter, Scott, talked us into the BBQ pork pizza & we were glad he did – it was awesome. The homemade fries & chips are great, as was the other pizza, and fish sandwich. The highlight might have been Scott bringing out a pitcher of lemonade for my boy’s unquenchable thirst.
Third visit was breakfast with the family. The breakfast pizza was amazing again as was all the other food (French toast, biscuits & gravy, omelette).
All food has been great. Staff attitudes are awesome, even when busy & running like crazy.
Can’t wait to go back!

This used to be my go to place. No more. Just picked up a pizza. It was cooked on aluminum foil, the crust was so soggy and not cooked in the center. The edges were so stuck to the aluminum foil I could barely lift off a piece. Plus owners changed and they took my two favorite things off their menu – pulled pork and house made chips

This place WANTS YOUR BUSINESS. Everyone hussles to make sure your glass is never empty. I was there for a benefit. They tell me it serves one of the best breakfast in the area. The homemade chips were delicious.

The former Buoys is now Bubba’s Buoys! The food is awesome, especially the chicken wings and pizza. The business is under new management. The staff is working hard to change the once tainted reputation that the old Buoys had. I highly recommend that you give Bubba’s Buoys a chance to earn your business.
