Great atmosphere. Service was good and attentive. We were greeted as we walked in and out. Very nice. My wife got the bacon and cheese burger and it was delicious. I got the blacken blue burger and was a bit salty for my taste. Both burgers were cooked medium well. The fries were well seasoned and good as well.

Entered and was surprised with how many TVs were there and the waitress help a lot with questions and recommendations my wife ordered the sampler and lived the boneless tenders I ordered the avocado burger which was delicious cost $14.99 an order of fries and an order of onion rings .

DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK!!!
We’ve gone twice. I ordered the steak both times because I decided to give them another chance.
The first time, I asked for medium rare and they gave it to me well done.
The second time I asked for medium rare as well and they gave it to me well done again. This time I decided to let the waiter know. He went back and they gave me another piece of steak. This one was extremely rare. I opened it up and it was dark Purple! Not pink. Not even red. Literally purple.
I told him it was fine, that I’d just cook it at home and he said he would take it back. When he returned the steak was well done again. I gave up. Just problably will never return and I will be telling people not to order the steak there or not to go at all. The steak plate was about $23 and I was not offered a discount, or a return or refund. Paid full price and didn’t even eat it. Ridiculous. Will not be returning.
Picture for reference of the 3rd time he brought it back. I cut it in strips to see the inside. I don’t see any pink. I just took it home didn’t eat any on the restaurant.

8-29-25 First visit today for lunch. My wife ordered Blackened Bleu Burger with fries. Said the burger was good, but the bacon was severely undercooked. I ordered Chicken and Bacon Mac n Cheese. The cheese blend is good, could have a bit more but there is enough to cover the mac. There is a rich bacon flavor throughout the dish. You get that bacon taste even when there is none on the fork. There is plenty of chicken as well, but you might not want to stir, or it all can end up in the middle of the bowl. It comes with a piece of bread, that can be good, if you eat it while it is hot. I am not a big bread eater, so left it for last to taste, and realized that was a mistake.
Waitstaff was pleasant, and checked on us often. The only other negative I can comment on is the music. We were in the bar, and the music was too loud to try to have a conversation without feeling like we were talking to everyone there. At one point the waitress came over to speak with us, and we could only guess at what she was saying, we couldnt hear her at all

The pizza, wings, & fries were so good! Victor the manager was walking around, checking on the tables to make sure everything was as it should be. Our waiter Nate was on top of everything, so we never had to ask for refills! We also appreciated that the evening atmosphere was still family friendly. We will be back!

Great food and great atmosphere. Although i feel like we were rushed a bit for some reason, the flavor of the food definitely makes up for this because it was just so good. We tried the burger, the pizza, the pasta, fried pickles, and a dessert. While we ate, we enjoyed some eventful basketball games that were going on. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to other people.

We celebrated my son’s Dads Birthday and the food was delicious, the service was on point. This is one of my son’s favorite places to eat and drink a COLD ONE, I even ordered a frozen Margarita that was to die for!!! The Fried Pickles and Onion Rings Hit the Spot!!! I highly recommend Bubbas in McAllen for those of you that are looking for great service, Delicious Food and COLD BEER!!!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! Alejandra helped me out and she was incredibly kind and welcoming. She went above and beyond by offering me some coupons for my next visit, which I really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of flavors and portions that left me more than satisfied. The desserts were amazing — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I also loved the beverages; they were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable, and the service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

I have to be honest that I really like Bubba’s 33 food, just about everything is great, but today’s experience was not nice. I invited a friend for his first time and for his birthday, and informed the server from the very start about my birthday friend who was there with his wife and his son, as well as my wife. At least three times I kept reminding the server about the birthday courtesy and we waited even after I paid the ticket but never showed up.
