The only thing we take serious is our BBQ. From your very first contact with us until the second you wipe the last bit of BBQ off of your chin, we want you to have fun. Since BubbaQue’s BBQ was founded by rednecks in a redneck environment, we parody all things in that rural southern environment. It is truly meant as a compliment to that great southern hospitality—and good cooking as well. BubbaQue’s BBQ only smokes the very best cuts of pork, beef and chicken. All of the side dishes are made fresh every day using the best old southern ingredients and recipes.

First time here, since there was not many restaurants in the area so we chose BubbaQue’s. Kinda early in afternoon and not many people in the restaurant. The pull pork sandwich plate was pretty good and better than expected. Waiters very friendly with quick service.

Atmosphere was decent, nice decor and seating. Ribs were not fall off the bone, felt more like ripping meat off of a t-bone. Fries and corn were the best part of my meal, i had gotten the full rack of ribs. Fried pickles has an amazing crust, but were not as juicy. Service was good given the 2 large parties that were there, but was often left with empty drinks/beer for a while. Waitress was really nice! I wont be coming back tho

One of my best BBQ spots in Leesville. Food is great. Love the sticky bones (ribs). Staff is awesome and friendly. Prices are good. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves some good ole BBQ.

We consider this place our go to for BBQ. Good prices and good food. They are quick at bringing your dinner and keep your cup filled. Revisited ….HAVE A NICE SALAD BAR and great service

No waiting to be seated bc nobody was there. Ribs were chewy, old, reheated. poppers were burnt and dry, chicken was dry. Bread was good, fries and fried pickles were good. Very disappointed haven’t been back

Went for lunch on a Tuesday. Wasn’t busy, maybe 3 other tables. Sat immediately. Our server was friendly but not very informative. It was obvious that this place has definitely made their portions smaller, especially their sides (at least half the size of what they used to be). Also, when ordering, I asked for a basket and the waitress asked what sideS- so I assumed 2. Apparently 2 sides is a plate, not a basket so I was charged more than I expected. The taste of the food was good- a little salty. I just felt like I was paying more for less than I used to. Ordered shrimp (10) with mac & cheese (dipping sauce cup size) and poppers (1 pepper) for $20! My friend got the salad bar (supposed to be $7.99) and was charged $13.
Improvements: faster service
Issues: waitress not informative, portion sizes smaller, too expensive
Summer 2021:
Comfortable bbq restaurant. Only go if you have awhile to wait because service is a bit slow.
Location: Easy to get to and notice from the road. You may find yourself having to turn around due to available road median areas. Parking isn’t a problem.
Atmosphere: Overall comfortable. Plenty of tables and booths. Spaced out well. I dont feel close to others. The booths are spacious to fit 4 adults comfortably. They also have a party room.
Service: Needs work. A little uninterested and preoccupied. Brought us the wrong food. EXTREMELY slow. Between drinks and taking our order was 15 minutes. Between sitting down and appetizer (fried pickles) was 30 minutes. Between ordering and getting meal (for 2 people) was 35 minutes.
Food: Decent variety. Nachos (fries not chips), burgers, sandwiches, shrimp, salads, ribs, etc. Sides: mac and cheese, fries, coleslaw, collard greens, potato salad, corn, etc. We have gotten their shrimp (decent), mac and cheese (good), fries (typical), potato salad (good-cold), chicken sandwich (felt like it was missing seasoning), jalapeno poppers, and ribs (pretty small). We have also tried their fried pickles and green tomatoes (good). They do a buffet sometimes, but we have never tried it.
Price: $10+ depending on what you get. I feel comfortable with the prices. You can choose 1 or 2 sides with your meal.
Pros: Comfortable, ok prices, easy location.
Cons: Food quality (sometimes), service.

Huge menu with options for everyone. Several choices of different BBQ sauce. Great atmosphere and plenty of space. Service was great and we really enjoyed our visit. Will definitely eat here again.
