Last night my family and I drove from Plain into east Wenatchee and decided to swing by one of our family’s favorite places Bubba Js ❤️ we apparently arrived 20 mins before they closed. Admittedly we should have verified we had the hours right in our heads, but we didn’t. Not only did the host/server at the front make us feel welcome, we also did not feel rushed at all. She made sure to let us know we did not need to hurry at all, and was more than welcoming to my rowdy kids and husband and I. The gentlemen came with the food and there was no rushing from them or distaste for the late order. We were served with a smile, and of course amazing food, even twenty minutes before closing! My kids love the family room side of the building, and my husband and I love getting a meal neither kid complains about! I highly recommend the combo #2 with brisket burned ends, and turkey! The dinner cakes/cornbread are the best! I love having the left overs for the next days lunch too 🙂 portion sizes are amazing, prices are fair, and the service is unmatched!

Very good, traditional BBQ! They have a big menu, and we have only tried combo #3 (my husband and I shared). It was a big portion, and we were full and satisfied! The brisket was very good, the ribs fall
Off the bone and flavorful, and the Kielbasa was exceptional. All three BBQ sauces were very good. Service was very good as well. She was really helpful, friendly, and kind.
We will be back! I should have taken a picture of our food, but I forgot. The food drew me in quickly.

Very disappointed. I was hoping for REAL smoked meats like low & slow BBQ since the sign says “more bark.” The ribs were obviously boiled and then briefly smoked. The meat had a pale green color and ZERO smoke ring. All the flavor was in the sauce. Not a bad sauce but…
The chopped brisket was better but whoever chopped did a really bad job in cutting really thick (1-1.5”) chunks which just got really tough and stringy the more you chewed. Ambience was good. Clean. Parking is super tight and inconvenient. Drive past this place all the time but don’t see any smoke. So all the BBQ occurs off-site. Meh.
Country Boys in Cashmere was MUCH higher quality BBQ (too bad they closed). Still have to drive to Seattle for true BBQ (Jack’s BBQ on Airport way – SODO is still the best in WA)

Ahhh. … you better stop here if you like smokey BBQ! Burnt ends were so tender and hush puppies fresh, crisp, and slightest sweet. What a fun find. Be sure to stop.

Best food you will ever have!!! I am not the biggest fan of BBQ but when my friends went here I decided to try it out. Everyone raves about how good their food is. They are not lying!! Best BBQ I will ever eat in my life. Their fry sauce is to die for. We literally are going back to get more the next day. I highly recommend you stop at this cute, aesthetic, delicious food truck!

The food was sooo good! And surprisingly more affordable! And they have mac n cheese unlike other bbq places in the valley. The setting is also super cute and inviting! 10/10 recommend the burnt ends and Mac n cheese and corn bread

After weeks of passing by the place, I was finally able to try this place out on Saturday. The menu was simple and easy to read with a good amount of options (I was surprise they had dessert items).
Ended up getting the Family Meal w/ Pulled Pork. This could easily feed a family of four, but for me (big guy alert), it was 3 giant plates of great BBQ. Chicken was really juicy, pulled pork was great, but the real surprise were the sides. I’m not a fan of boiled eggs, but the potato salad had a great blend of creamy and crunchy bites. The Mac and Cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had. Never knew what a dinner cake was but after today I know now they’re delicious. The cinnamon honey butter melted on top made it . Will definitely be back again.

If I could give this place a 6/5 I would. The 4th of July Chicken special was easily the best deal of 2024. My food had to endure an hour drive back home but everything looked amazing as soon as we opened them up. Got an order of the Pretzel Loaves and they were so delicious! I ordered them as a snack but they were fairly big and could have been a full meal. Totally worth the hour drive.

Bubba J’s catered my Rotary holiday party and it was absolutely delicious. The food was delivered right on time and the portions terrific. Everyone was very happy. The BBQ ribs were the hands down favorite and the pulled pork wontons were awesome. We will definitely work with Bubba J’s again. Just fabulous!

Phenomenal BBQ! I would order the entire menu if I could. Every dish is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is well worth the price. You know a place is good when even their sides are mouthwatering!

The trifecta of BBQ.. Not just talking about beef, pork and chicken. Im talking good food, good service and good atmosphere. The owners care alot, and as I found out, they care more about service than profit. I wont go into details, but I will tell you these are great people with great bbq. The desserts are not to be missed either. I’ve been here several times from catering team dinners to-go, to small family groups and just myself. Every meal has been fantastic. Bubba’s is more than BBQ, it’s a company rooted in the community. (Happy 2nd Anniversary on the brick and mortar side!)
