I would have given 5 stars if they did not serve us eggs shells in our food. My 8 year old order chicken fried rice and it tasted very good but she got two egg shells. Chef pls be careful little kids eat your food.

What a great place Bua Thai is!
The food is awesome, the ambience is lovely and its absolutely amazing for kids!!
The kids ordered the chicken satay and the orange chicken (kids menu), and they loved it. My daughter said it’s the best orange chicken she’s had (and she’s had it everywhere lol).
The reviews are spot on about the mild spicing, they deliver it with so much flavour. We loved the hot pot Tom yum soup and the vegetarian dumplings – so tasty. And the stir fry black and pepper vegetables were awesome too.
Quantities all round were great and service is fassst!

This place is great. I ordered the fried Thai chicken and it did not disappoint. It was crunchy on the outside with crispy onions, tender and juicy on the inside and sweet with the sauce on the side. The restaurant is clean and has a relaxing vibe.
My wife got the egg plant basil and asked for a 1/10 on the heat scale and it was phenomenal. They delivered on that 1/10 heat and every bite has been an experience in flavor.

I have to write another review here. I really love this place. The staff is beyond friendly and kind. I tend to order online and head in to pick it up, and they always have a smile on their face. Sometimes when I have a moment between work, I’ll pop in to grab a bite to go, but then realize I have a little extra time and they’ll happily seat me and bring me plates and water even if I’d say I’ll eat out of the box. I really enjoy them.
The mango sticky rice is my favorite thing ever here… It’s just perfect.
The beef jerky is DELISH! I wish there was a bit more, but regardless… It’s yummy. My favorite. 😀

I’ve ordered from here on several occasions and continue to come back because I can rely on the food being pretty consistent. I especially find the curries delicious. There’s plenty to choose from and the spicy doesn’t blow out the other flavors of the curry.

Bua Thai is one of my FAVORITE Thai restaurants in SD!! Their menu is very expansive with many super traditional dishes. Everything is made from scratch including many of their seasonings and sauces. You can taste the authenticity in every dish because the chef takes so much pride in her cooking.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s in a strip mall away from the street so you cannot really see it as you drive. The place is not crowded and the food is good. The price is reasonable and the quantity great. This place has a nice ambience. There was only one server but she was very efficient, extremely courteous and helpful. We were large party and she was not overwhelmed inspite of being the only one to serve.
