Welcome to our new location in New South Marketplace! B’s offers breakfast and lunch on weekdays & all-day brunch on weekends, along with a full coffee and espresso bar. We are also a scratch bakery, making a wide variety of sourdough bread, bagels, pastries, cookies, cupcakes and croissants daily. B’s is 100% vegetarian and predominantly plant-based. By making everything in-house, we are able to provide you with a delicious and healthy experience – from our own salad dressings, jams and fillings, to buttercreams and beyond. We also focus on high-quality ingredients, including organic Janie’s Mill flour, Guittard chocolate, and direct trade Guatemalan coffee from De La Gente.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in TN. As someone who is a pescatarian, moving to a state that is meat heavy and landlocked was hard. Since I generally lean vegetarian at restaurants, stumbling upon this gem was a saving grace. There has not been a single meal that wasn’t delicious. The owners are super friendly, the vibe is laidback chic and I go out of my way to eat here as often as I’m able.

This place is 10 stars easyyy! They got so much going on, full bakery operation plus a restaurant so there’s so many delicious things to choose from! We stopped on our roadtrip and had the perfect breakfast! Burrito and egg sandwich and great coffee! And of course we had to try the unique nutty chocolaty “Passover toffee bar” yum!!

B’s is the best! . Incredible sourdough bread made with Janie’s Mill flour – it’s so hearty with such depth of flavor. Also, their pastries are to die for – especially the almond croissants! Coffee and lattes are always perfectly made and hot so you can enjoy them while looking out the window on Columbia or taking a walk around town.

We’ve visited a lot of bakeries, and their menus are very hit or miss. Not so with B’s.
Pop tarts? Delicious (though their cinnamon one should totally be permanent rather than seasonal).
Cinnamon rolls? Great.

Love this place! I’m not a vegetarian but every food I’ve tried here is fresh and delicious. Their black bean burger is my favorite lunch. Coffee is also delicious, especially their tahini white mocha Also a great place to work, as the environment is spacious, WiFi is free, and even when busy it’s not too noisy. We also ordered my daughter’s birthday cake from here and everyone raved about it. David, the owner, is also friendly and very hands-on with customers. Highly recommend giving it a try!

The food is always so good! My daughter is allergic to gluten and dairy, so it’s so nice to have somewhere she can get treats! She loves their cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches. The staff is always super helpful too.

B’s salty and sweet cafe has a laid-back, relaxing atmosphere and a great way to step away from the elements. They have a wide selection of unique drinks and sweets, as well as snacks and specialty food items. I personally enjoyed an Orange Cardamom latte and a gluten-free cupcake, both were delicious. They were sure to ask about and accommodate allergies. The service was fast and the women working were all very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend.

I needed a last minute Thanksgiving carrot cake after plans to pick up a cake from my local bakery fell through. My sweet husband happened to be working in Columbia that day and offered to pick up a cake for me there if I called ahead to order it. Being that it was the day before Thanksgiving, every bakery I called was unable to help me. B’s Sweet & Salty was one of the last bakeries I contacted. A polite gentleman named “David” answered the phone and apologetically explained to me that he too could not help me with a carrot cake. I thanked him for his time, but no sooner than I ended the call, David had called me back offering to whip me up a traditional 9″ carrot cake that would be ready for pickup in just a few hours! Thank you B’s Sweet & Salty and thank you David for your grace and kindness…
