My first time at this location which is located at 315 Travis st (it’s curbside only and you will park In front of the HOUSTON painting to wait on your food) was nothing short of AMAZING when it came to the food (beef Egusi and pounded Yams) I’ve ordered this literally 5x in the last 2 weeks . Being that the food is made to order I suggest you don’t order if you are on a time sensitive schedule . I show grace because I know it’s one person cooking and ideally I don’t like rush food so I ALWAYs choose a time frame where I’m able to wait on fresh food . I see the other reviews and can understand some of you all frustration but let me tell you that the food is really Good and flavorful and hope that the cook can redeem himself to those who were disappointed. But I can only speak for me when it come to the food it’s a 10/10 highly recommended

I order from this restaurant once a day and I am completely obsessed. The food is always made hot & fresh and my order is always made within 5 minutes. The meat is plentiful as well, and I always get more food than I can finish. The turkey comes stewed on top and the plantain is soft as well as the rice. I would recommend this place to anyone that lives in Houston as a choice for Nigerian Cuisine. You will not be disappointed.

I purchased this yam chips and to my disbelief, this is $15 plus tax nearly $20 at a gas station plus it was burnt and the most upsetting thing I also purchased soup with no chicken and it the soup came with all chicken. The ticket pacifically said no chicken and he recommended beef or fish. I called and the person I spoke to said that he wasn’t the one that did the food but he will send me my refund. I’m waiting to see if it comes if it doesn’t I’ll have an updated review.

Terrible experience. I was charged twice for my meal, and even after providing clear proof, the staff refused to correct the mistake. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! The woman who answered the phone kept lying about my order being teary I had to change Dashers twice the Dasher waited 45 minutes for my food, and it still was not ready and I kept calling and she kept making up every excuse in the world I would never order from this place again!!!!

June 23rd-I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had today. I placed a simple food order well before my lunch break, expecting it to arrive in a timely manner. Instead, it took 2.5 hours for the delivery to be completed with no communication or updates about the delay until I reached out myself.
Because of this, I completely missed my lunch break and didn’t even get to enjoy the food I paid for. To make matters worse, after keeping a customer waiting that long, there was no apology, no complimentary item, or any gesture to make up for the inconvenience. This is unacceptable and shows a clear lack of regard for customers’ time and experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your communication and service recovery forward.

I placed an order at 6:35 PM and by 9:46 PM, I still had not received my food. When the DoorDash driver finally arrived, a verbal argument broke out between the driver and a representative from this business. Shockingly, the rep refused to hand over the delivery to the driver — but did call me to inform me of the situation.
Despite multiple attempts to contact the business and get an update, I received no clear answers for nearly an hour. This is not just poor customer service — it’s completely unacceptable. I spent over three hours waiting with no resolution. I will not be ordering from here again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before doing so.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is hands down the worst place to get food and by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever endured. Not only did they give me the wrong order, but they also had the audacity to charge me $56 for a plate of soup with just two pieces of goat meat and a single shawarma. Mind you, there was no assorted meat in the soup and I didn’t order a side of goat as stated in the receipt. I asked for a protein substitute. Any Nigerian will tell you this is an absolute rip-off, especially for a restaurant that’s located inside a gas station. After realizing the error, I had to return the order, and to add insult to injury, they told me there’s no refund. Utterly unacceptable and a complete disappointment.

So their location online and on Google is a gas station that’s boarded up and abandoned. This should be corrected. Saying you’re open on Google and post your hours yet you really don’t have a location is not only fraudulent but a valuation of the health code. I would stay away from this scam.
