I gotta sandwich for a flight, first time here but my family said it was pretty good. I got the #1 which includes chicken cutlet and my chicken cutlet was raw. I took out a cutlet too (unfortunately didn’t take a pic) and broke it in half and it confirmed even more that it was raw. Even pinker than what’s shown in the picture attached. I’m usually not the complaining type but it was so disappointing, I was already checked in at the airport so I couldn’t necessarily bring it back. Paid $16 for the sandwich. Had to get something else at the airport. The lard breads good but definitely not going back for the sandwiches. Not hating, just bringing it to their attention.

Bruzzese’s Italian Gourmet Salumeria is a hidden gem on Staten Island. The selection of imported Italian meats, cheeses, and other delicacies is mind-blowing. I grabbed some prosciutto, burrata, and a loaf of their homemade bread. Seriously, the flavors were incredible! If you love authentic Italian food, you NEED to check this place out.

Today I went into this store thinking I wanted a nice hot home made soup but was I surprised.
I went back to work with chicken soup thinking how good was going to be until the first spoon full then spitting it out!
How about Cheap Canned Soup with a few slices of zucchini in it!
Think I’m lying go to the store and buy there chicken soup and tell me if you can eat that crap?
I looked through it with my spoon.
They did not even try to add extra chicken just a few pieces of zucchini and all the rest soup was same cheap canned crap.
Made me so pissed off I had to leave a review it deserves.
Call them selves a Gourmet Italian Store? Joke for sure and last time I will be spending money in that store.
When it was called Certos was 100x times better food.

I made a special trip there to try their silician rice balls. Very disappointed, they were very dry and there was a lot of tasteless cheese mixed in with the rice. I was going to order some for a party but won’t bother now. I had read a review that said they had rice balls to die for. Whoever wrote that has a poor taste in italian food. To be fair, I did not try any of their other foods. They had a large selection and seemed to be a popular business.

While on the pricier side, the dish sizes are quite generous, making it a good value overall. However, be aware that you might encounter long lines.
