Really good pizza if you like pizza with lots of cheese. The toppings were generous and one slice is filling. Very nice cashier lady as well. I wish they included napkins in the takeout order though

So today me and a couple friends were in town and came in for pizza. i would come to southbend just for pizza, that’s how good I thought it was. 2 slices and a drink for $10, I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone.

Amazing pizza. Would definitely eat it again. We did a whole pizza but you can order by the slice. The 18” pizza was too much food for 2 adults and 3 youth. I will enjoy the leftovers.

Having reviewed many a pizza joints, I had to add a South Bend pizza review. Since we stayed at the Courtyard about 1 block away we ordered a few pizzas since we had a pretty decent sized party and the restaurant looked quite small. Figured 1 block away it wouldn’t take long, however we were wrong on that. This place is either super busy on a Saturday night, or super slow. I’d say they are quite busy on Saturdays. Once the pizza finally arrived I couldn’t wait to try one of each we had ordered. The cheese pizza was somewhat greasy from the cheese. Pizza was exceptionally sweet. If you like sweet pizza sauce this is your place. Sweetest I’ve ever had. Pizza Undercarriage was done well however there wasn’t any snap or crisp to it at all. Now on to the stuffed pizza. Same sweetness from the cheese pizza. Again, has to be that sauce which is a dark red sauce, good tomato flavor, just very sweet. Cheese was again slightly greasy. This stuffed pizza also has no real snap, just a chewiness. One slice of this stuffed pizza and you are filled up. Very, very filling. I actually preferred the stuffed pizza to the regular cheese pizza. All in all, pretty slow to get the food 1 block away, very sweet sauce, definitely distinguishable. While I am not a big fan of sweet sauce, I had to rate accordingly.

I ordered a pizza at 6:00pm and at 6:54pm my pizza still hadn’t been delivered.
I called and I was told at that time that they didn’t have a driver.
I purchase a pizza every month when I am in town staying at Aloft Hotel for work which is less than 5 minutes walking distance.
I was not giving an apology, discount, or anything. I then asked for napkins and plates and was told that they were on the other side of the floor.
Customer Service is horrible at this location. My Team will locate another place to purchase pizza.

I appreciate that I can get a slice and salad or breadsticks (or slices) in a combo with a beverage for lunch or dinner. Consistent food quality and quick service make Bruno’s Downtown an easy choice, even if you only have a half hour for lunch.

Price is ridiculously high. $30 bux for a large pepperoni pizza with barely any pepperoni. I ordered a thin crust and in my opinion this is no where near thin. My husband did enjoy his bbq pizza which is why I gave it 3 stars.
