Casual, family-operated restaurant focusing on Sicilian-inspired recipes, by way of NYC.

The food was absolutely amazing! The lights are a bit bright but overall an excellent experience. If it was not for the bright lights over our table i would of given 5 stars across the board. The service (Alyssa & Zachary) was awesome!!! The music also was excellent Frank S played all night! Congratulations to Bruno for having the best Italian restaurant in Fort Myers, probably all of South Florida.

The food and service were impeccable! I don’t think I’ve ever had such an authentic Italian experience in the states! Just phenomenal!!! The atmosphere was nice but we went on a Saturday so it was very loud but that is expected. AND THE SERVICE!! It was like being home with nana and family doting on you! The entire team was so cohesive and friendly. 100% recommend and they will defiantly be seeing my face again!

Came for my birthday with my girlfriend. She had the lamb with gnocchi. I had the seafood diavolo. Delicious. We had the meatballs in demi glaze as a starter……blew my mind. For dessert, we had the cannoli. Her first time having one, it was great. Overall, great food, and our server Zachary was amazing.

This was our first time visiting Bruno’s of Brooklyn, Italian Eatery, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience.
The food was excellent—rich in flavor and clearly well prepared. I would easily rate the food a 10/10.
The service was also very good; attentive and friendly, deserving a 9/10.
The atmosphere was enjoyable and welcoming. While I found it very nice overall, I would rate it an 8/10, mainly because the space is quite small. It is possible that the upstairs area was closed at the time, which may have contributed to that feeling.
Aside from that, we truly enjoyed our visit. It’s a lovely spot, and I hope they continue maintaining the quality and consistency that made our first experience such a positive one. We would definitely return.

Bruno’s was definitely an experience. We got to enjoy the Absolutely Amazing Chefs Table and I couldn’t imagine being them they do everything so effortlessly. Our Waitresses Alyssa and Sabina were such beautiful souls and they took great care of us.
I can’t wait to come back Because the food was spectacular!!!

I was visiting Ft Myers to visit a friend, who recommended this downtown restaurant. It was a Friday night and the atmosphere was awesome, with streets closed down and art vendors everywhere. The vibe was very cool, especially with being seated outdoors. Our server was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken marsala which was good. My associate tried the gnocchi Alfredo with shrimp. It was alright, but he was disappointed it only came with 5 small shrimp for $42. He ordered the bread pudding which was excellent except it was mostly ice cream. The service and location are excellent and for that alone I would come back again.

Wow! What an experience at the chefs table. The service was incredible. It was amazing to watch the chaos behind the scene! Highly recommend if you want to be fascinated with the orchestration of everyone’s meals. Truly impressive. We have a new found respect for what it takes to make a meal. Everything was great. And special thanks to Alyssa for facilitating the magic. You were great! Thank you.

We used to join them at their other location and due to health issues we haven’t been able to enjoy their new location. Tonight was our first time for our Anniversary. OMG, its fabulous, the atmosphere, the food and the wonderful service! The new restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed every moment! Our server Zachary was phenomenal!!! We had the Caprese, meat ball app, and the Chicken Parmigana, bread pudding and latte to finish, everything was AMAZING!!! We highly recommend!!! Give this gem of a family your business they deserve it!!! We recommend getting reservations!

Went to Bruno’s for a friend’s birthday and left pretty disappointed with the overall experience. Our waitress was not very attentive and didn’t seem particularly engaged. Honestly, without the help of the assistants and bussers, I’m not sure much would have gotten done. They were great, and I wish I could have tipped them directly.
The appetizers were where things really went downhill. The portions were shockingly small for the price. My girlfriend and I ordered a Caesar salad for $20, which ended up being little more than a small head of romaine with a few croutons and some cheese (pictured). Others at the table ordered the fried calamari for $23, and it was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen at a restaurant – maybe a third of what you’d typically expect elsewhere. Even by Naples standards, the price-to-portion ratio felt borderline insulting, and it definitely made us nervous about the entrees.
Fortunately, the entrees somewhat redeemed the night. I had the chicken parm, which was a solid portion and tasted quite good. My girlfriend ordered the sausage and peppers with penne, which was also well portioned and enjoyable.
In the end, while the entrees were good, everything else about the experience was average at best. At this price point, there are plenty of better options in the area, so we probably won’t be back.
