Today’s breakfast took Jack and Ken to the small farm town of Avoca, NY. The Brunch and Munch Cafe. Does it look rough from the outside? A little. Once we got inside, it was filled with locals. Older Farmers in their later years. Some of them can’t stand up straight from years of backbreaking farm work. Everyone was glued to the news, busting chops and laughing. Was the food good? Yes, it was very solid, affordable and good portions. Your host and waiter Don is such a nice guy. He thought he had retired until his wife talked him into buying a diner. The wife, Tammy, great cook and a heart of gold. Ken paid ahead for the next Vets breakfast and asked if we could hang a flyer for Alex’s Beef on Weck dinner/Raffle. Tammy said sure and came back with a gift certificate and said see you at the raffle❤️. I just had a good feeling walking out of this diner. This is America and a testament to the hardworking farmers who busted their butts before all the fancy machinery. These nice people are still trying to recover from COVID. If you are near Avoca and you’re hungry, PLEASE stop in and support Don and Tammy. They have a nice lunch as well. Once places like this are gone, they are gone. Brunch and Munch Cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Talk about delicious. Unassuming with the cutest atmosphere. The biscuits and gravy were well seasoned literally perfectly. Some photos of the deliciousness provided. And the PRICES 25$ for two people including coffee!

Belgium waffles with ice cream; It was a tasty experience. Not terribly welcoming until you enter the building. (Probably from COVID restrictions they make you check in before entering) but the people are nice inside. Coffee is good. Definitely a needed destination in Avoca.

So good! My fam and I ate breakfast here when driving to Canada. The food was so delicious and the staff were very nice! They even buttered the toast just perfectly The French Vanilla Cappuccino was absolutely delicious. If you dont like coffee that much, I’d recommend getting that since the coffee in that drink isn’t that strong. Everything overall was just amazing and delicious.

We’ve been here before for breakfast, which wasn’t bad, but we went for dinner tonight and it was sub par. The server was not personable at all; Very sarcastic, didn’t really check on us. My pulled pork came out looking like sloppy Joe, my bun was really soggy and it didn’t come with coleslaw as advertised, but they still charged me for it. And I overheard the owner say behind the counter that it’s supposed to be like that because it’s pulled pork. The bread is not supposed to be soggy and if you don’t have coleslaw then don’t have it advertised on the menu, or at least mention it when ordering. No one offered to make me a new one or something else, but certainly still charged me for it after one bite.. We were served bottled water for drinks and mandarin oranges came from the cups you can buy at the store. I’m really not trying to knock a small local business, but being personable and doing what’s best for your customer goes a long way. We won’t be back.

I just had one of the most tender, juicy steaks I’ve ever had. The cook Joe has never let me down. This is fast becoming one of my favorite places to eat. I can relax and enjoy myself if I see that the staff are also having fun. Great place, expecting to go back again, often.

Mac and cheese was microwaved and disgusting mush, best thing I ordered was the Marinara with the Mozz Sticks and water no way this placed earned a 4.4 or they have new owners something’s gotta be going on cuz this place is sad will never return
