Love Brueggers but this is absolutely absurd. The only place at the Cleveland airport that created a line with a check-in prior authorization to place an order with the line starting 15 feet away. Watched 4 employees not acknowledging the order line . Waited 12 minutes to place my order and then 10 more minutes to get my simple bagel. We watched at least 16 people get out of line and go next door to Shake Shack and get their food well before we did. Is the owner aware of this setup and how purposely slow and rude this staff is at this location ? Love the bagel but you’ll endure the very rude and poor attitude/culture and service that comes with it. Noticed this isn’t the first post of this nature. Fly through here routinely and this will be my last and final attempt at what was once one of my favorite bagel stops.

i wish i could give 0 stars. I know no one wants to be working on christmas eve, i don’t want to be at the airport either, but i have never had employees be so mean to me. I tried to order a bagel and was pretty much yelled at for paying and ordering in the wrong order, even though i was the only customer there at the time. employees were snapping at eachother and me and the customers i saw come after me. then the bagel was cold and they rolled their eyes when i asked for a knife? was i supposed to put the cream cheese on with my hands? tossed it in the trash and left bummed out. i work at a cafe too and know it can be tough to deal with people, but i was as kind as i could be and was met with only hostility

Tell that woman behind the counter if she yells at me again, I’m gonna come over that counter. Stop treating your customers like shit. Yelling the lines over there get out of my line and get back in that line. You better make a bigger sign with Boulder letters. You lost three customers today with her treating people like that. Based on the reviews, though you’re not gonna change anything or get rid of her so what’s the point right? Happened today 3-7-26

I thought airport restaurants offering poor customer service was just a given, which is why I was so wildly impressed with the two gentleman working at Bruggers Bagels this morning. Polite, kind, welcoming- some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. They were also moving quickly, getting customers through, memorizing orders (knowing who to hand everything off to) and seemed to be in great spirits at 7:20 am on a Sunday morning. I even heard them say as another person left, “What a nice guest” seeming to recognize others being polite in return. Talk about a nice surprise!

Wish there was a 0 option. The staff creates unnecessary arguments and literally YELLING at a customer. There was only myself and the other customer all over where to stand and wait. It was crazy. Two times in a row I have witnessed and one time with me. Its actually crazy. Sooo unprofessional. I get the vibe that it is very hard to get competent employees, so they have had to settle for “at least they show up” mentality. Customer service is something management has not focused on.

Everyone that i interacted with at this store was very rude. A lot of attitude towards all of the customers, everyone that was waiting was talking about how rude the help was. I know you have a captive customer base at the airport but, this is beyond acceptable.

What a flavorful breakfast sandwich! There’s so much going on that you’re inclined to think it’ll be a train wreck. But it’s the exact opposite. Kudos to the team that created this one.
Convenience. It’s located in the airport and the options are limited.
Cons:
The staff. Very temperamental. Seem unhappy. While certainly not friendly, no one was rude to me directly. However they were quite rude to a number of others. Had I seen such staff behavior beforehand, I’d have ordered elsewhere.

Poor customer service from upper management.
On 12/28/25 around 4:45 a.m., the general manager and shift supervisor were extremely rude—some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced.
That said, the regular employee preparing the sandwiches was kind, patient, and professional, and the bagels were good.
If working with customers—especially early in the morning—is an issue, customer service may not be the right role. Passengers deserve respect, and businesses exist because of their customers.

Never thought I’d review a Bruegger’s Bagels in an airport, but I just have to. The man who just helped me this morning was so kind and pleasant and one of the most customer service oriented people I have ever met in my life. And it wasn’t just me; he was treating everyone this way. He made my morning so much better than it had been going. What a gem of a person. Thank you to him and the rest of the crew.

I had an extremely bad experience at this place. The manager was very rude and disrespectful. I waited a while for my bagels and when I asked if they had my order the manager said to the worker “what is the problem. She needs to wait”. She was very short when I didn’t have my payment out fast enough. I will not recommend this place to anyone. How dare them treat customers with such disrespect.
