UPDATE #2: After leaving the below review about our previous visit, I was contacted by Bert, the District Manager, who went above and beyond to make things right. She was horrified by our experience and explained management changes were already taking place to ensure a sitiuation like ours never happened again. She also personally offered to remake our order correctly and with the care we deserved on another visit. We decided to take her up on the offer, because what else did we have to lose? This time, Bert was on site to ensure everything came out perfectly…and it did! The bagel sandwiches were hot and fresh, the order was made the way they should be, and Bert’s customer service was excellent. She also apologized several times for our original visit. We really appreciate Bert’s professionalism, kindness and commitment to customer service as she completely turned our experience around and made good on her promise to make things right.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Yet another terrible experience at this location. My husband called in a to-go order for a Double Stack and Sriracha Honey Sunrise sandwiches. Both sandwiches were wrong: wrong bagels, no cream cheese, completely careless. Apparently they were out of the bagels and cream cheese that came with each bagel but no one bothered to tell my husband this when placing the order.

When I called to speak to a manager, I was put “on hold” for over 11 minutes, but unbeknownst to them, could clearly hear EVERYTHING being said, including manager Emily complaining about customers and their orders to a male coworker/employee. He mentioned several times that I was waiting on the phone, and when he asked about my being on hold a final time, she told him to hang up on me.

When I called back, Anastasia apologized but said Emily “couldn’t talk right now.” I could hear Emily in the background refusing to come to the phone. No accountability, no professionalism. I genuinely felt sorry for Anastasia as she was clearly trying to do the right thing.

This is the third time this location has messed up our order. Clearly, we’ve given them enough chances to get it right and this was the first time I called to address this issue and get a refund. Emily is rude, disrespectful, and clearly the reason for so many negative reviews. Bruegger’s corporate needs to step in and until then, we are done with this place.

Update: Emily called back just over 20 minutes later to say we could get a refund, but they don’t do them over the phone and we’d have to come back in to do so before 2 pm. Perhaps Corporate can take care of the refund since they clearly ask for credit card information (last four digits and order information) on their website and seem to be able to do so remotely.

I wish I caught the name of the gentleman that took my order. He was so nice. I never been here and had no idea what to order. I just knew I needed coffee and a sandwich. I asked for his recommendations and got the cold brew with vanilla and the farmhouse sandwich. Everything was delicious. Even the girl that made my sandwich was so nice when she handed it to me and complimented my kids haircut. The staff was so sweet to us and the place was so so clean !

These people are not competent. We ordered bagels 2 days in advance. When we went in to pick up the order, they informed us that they had run out of several of the flavors that we ordered. They did not get the order ready, they just filled the bag when we went to pick them up! That is the whole reason we ordered in advance!!!! To add insult to injury, they were not even apologetic nor did they indicate that they thought this was a problem. I had been going to Brueggers 1-2 times a week for a bagel sandwich. They have lost a customer and I will be telling everyone how screwed up they are

Some of the best bagels I’ve had recently. I tried the Vermonter and the Egg & Turkey signature bagels—both were excellent. The cashier was friendly and took the time to explain the signature combos and seasonal offerings. Overall, a great experience.

I come to Bruegger’s all the time and always create a bagel with lots of meat. Jennifer did an amazing job creating my meat lover’s bagel. The staff were all friendly and my bagel was amazing as always! Highly recommend coming here for great bagels and great staff.

Food was wonderful as always. I’ve been coming here weekly for at least the last 10 years to enjoy fresh bagels. Recently, they have hired a new manager who clearly has a problem with my order each week where he berates his employees for complying with my request (toast whole sandwich as I am pregnant and need the turkey toasted). When I provided feedback to this manager about his interactions with his employees, he rolled his eyes at me and walked away. I can imagine any employee would be fearful to speak out against this man based on his interactions with me. His position needs to be evaluated seriously.

Went to this location yesterday morning around 8:30am and ordered two breakfast sandwiches, 6 bagels and a coffee. My husband’s sandwich was pretty good except the bacon wasn’t pepper bacon and it was undercooked. My sandwich had completely brown guac on it. Three of the six bagels were completely malformed (see photos) – we should’ve looked in the bag. The three people working behind the counter were friendly, but this move of selling sub-par bagels felt quite dishonest.

We were passing by and decided to stop in for breakfast. We liked it. The bagels were delicious. The service was polite. A bit pricey. But everything has gone up in price now. ‍♀️ But at least it was delicious.

The bagels are great. The rest isn’t.

I ordered my girlfriend and I bagels on mobile order, and I order here frequently as I live nearby. They most of the time don’t start the order until we wait in line at the cash register for our turn and then let them know we’re here. She went in to pick up our food, and it was at least 30 minutes of waiting inside for a mobile order. The worker had asked if the egg whites were a must, something I paid extra for, and said to her “tell him i’m doing a lot of extra work for him” and made it a very unpleasant waiting experience. Our orders half the time are wrong, we have to check them before leaving the store. The bagels are outstanding and that is absolutely the only thing that keeps us coming back.

Edit:
The company asked me to leave a message on their website contact form; “Please reach out to us so our team can follow up with you directly. Kindly include the details of your visit. If you are satisfied with how your issue was resolved by our Guest Services team after the form is submitted, we would love it if you could update your review to reflect this!”

The response I got which doesn’t resolve anything: “Thank you for the message. We have gone ahead and added $15.00 to your Rewards Account. Enjoy breakfast or lunch on us!”.
