Love this spot! Started with the wings and they were so delicious. The dessert was also homemade and amazing. I had a cocktail first and a decaf latte with dessert. Love the variety. The ambiance and renovation are also beautiful. The staff was so friendly! Highly recommend!

I was coming all the way from Buffalo with some friends, to do sightseeing at Sleepy Hollow and we needed to grab a bite to eat, we parked at one of the streets over there and this restaurant popped up over there..
The atmosphere was nice and welcoming with a modern Irish ambience.. But the service was really the best I have seen in years in any locally run restaurant, shout out to one of the servers AJ! He was the best server I have seen, he was checking on us, checking people over and serving food with a decent pace!
If I am around the neighborhood again, I’ll sure come back here again.

I can’t say enough good things about Bru House. The food is seriously top notch — everything we’ve had has been fresh, flavorful, and done right. It’s not just typical pub food either, it’s elevated without being pretentious. You can tell there’s real care behind the menu.
The space itself is beautiful. The bar is stunning and the whole interior has such a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of place you can go for a casual drink or sit down for a great meal and feel comfortable either way.
Catherine, the owner, is truly wonderful. She runs the place with so much heart and it shows in every detail — from the atmosphere to the service. The staff is friendly and attentive, and you always feel taken care of.
If you’re looking for a great local spot with amazing food, a gorgeous setting, and genuinely good people behind it, Bru House is it. Can’t recommend it enough.

I REALLY wanted to like this place since they did a major overhaul. Unfortunately, it was all cosmetic. They are struggling with who they want to be. The prices and atmosphere just mask what you are getting for food and drinks. I felt bamboozled. We were a group of 5 on a Friday night and sampled most food on the menu. All food lacked any sort of flavor. The wings were dry and any item stating “truffle” was forgotten. Fried cheese balls were ok, burrata not creamy at all. The shaved fennel apple salad w/chicken had 3 slices of fennel, 6 walnuts and 4 slivers of apples. The dressing had no flavor to it and tasted like water with olive oil and didn’t have any vinegar. The crispy chicken sandwich was just that. A piece of fried chicken between 2 slices of bread. Adding insult to injury the mix drinks were overpriced and watered down. Our bills was $400(without tip) for party of 5. So overall I would say this is a good place to grab a beer or glass of wine getting off the train but stay away from cocktails and food.

Had a lovely lunch at Bru House! The food was unique and full of flavor — such a refreshing experience. Our waitress was so kind and attentive, and it meant a lot that the chef personally came out to talk with us. You could really feel the care in both the service and the food. Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. Service was great. The owner was very friendly and walking around helping out and accommodating people however possible. Food tasted good. Prices were manageable. The mixed drinks tasted great. Place is clean and the bar is cozy. Would recommend. Nice place to visit and relax.
