When you walk in the restaurant it smells welcoming and you can tell the love in the food. The waitress was warm and sweet to us. I went for my birthday breakfast and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 10/10 my grandma and pops used to come here when the Coffee shop first opened . I come from Florida and I love this restaurant with my heart.

A Brownsville, Texas staple, I dined here for a homestyle vibe that I grew up with. I came by for the breakfast because frankly, an egg dish that has homestyle potatoes and beans on the plate is exactly what I am talking about! This place is a staple in Brownsville. With over 40 years of service IT service authentic food. Not commercialized food like you get at home. If you’re looking for some upscale type restaurant this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for her earthy down-home goodness this is the place you’ll like. Speaking Spanish is a plus here.

Well don’t go to Brownsville Coffee Shop 35 mins before closing because they will tell you that they close in 35 mins. So if the food comes out 5 mins before closing time well too bad cuz they will throw you out I guess ♀️ Never walk in when it’s close to closing time I guess. I did ask them what that meant and all they did was look at each other. Advice to owner: say it closes 30 mins before closing time.
