Cute neighborhood spot for brunch or lunch. The boudin egg rolls were interesting with the cream cheese and pepper jelly (more sweet than spicy). Gumbo was dark and smoky with plenty of meats! The highlight for me was the club sandwich which is MASSSIVE. Piled high and not shy, it was enough to share for two people. I upgraded to the pimento mac and cheese, which were ok but nothing of point. I recommend sticking to the fries for the crunch with the club. My partner got the bleu shroom burger and it was just the right amount of funk and saltiness. I’ll definitely come back for my own burger!

I went back to Brown Butter a couple of days ago and everything was delicious. Love the atmosphere. Our waitress Savannah was excellent!

I had a great experience here. I came for a friend’s birthday, who loved them since their old location in Mid-City, and we were a very large group but the restaurant was very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their food, and our server was great! I ordered the Korean BBQ burger, and although I wished it had more sauce, it was still pretty delicious. The debris fries and the fried pickles were also delicious! There was a lot of parking because we went on a Sunday, when all the surrounding parking is free.

Absolutely stellar experience. We went on a Sunday night around 7pm, easily seated outside. We started with the fried pickles. Perfectly lightly fried with fresh dill sprinkled on top. It was heavenly. For dinner, I had the blue cheese and shroom burger add bacon with truffle fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, the dong phong bun was sweet and soft. The blue cheese and mushrooms complimented the burger wonderfully without overpowering it. The fries were crispy and delicious. I highly recommend upgrading from garlic fries to truffle fries. We split a creme Brule for dessert and it was a hit. The staff was all polite and approachable. They just knocked it out of the park. It’s a great addition to Old Gretna and I can’t wait to get back.

Great burgers! For starters we had salty, salty, salty gumbo. I split the brunch burger with a friend and we enjoyed the surprise flavors from the jelly and quickly became addicted to the fries with garlic dip. I finished off with a generous side salad of fresh ingrediants. Their outside seating looks to be a great place to sit and visit with friends in the summer although it was a little chilly for me to test in late December.

This place is the best! Absolutely delicious food and a great brunch option on the Westbank. They also have great happy hour deals. Service is quick and friendly. The patio is dog friendly. The inside is adorable and has the feel of a bougie bar where you can watch the game. The bartender/server Jessie is the absolute sweetest and so friendly and welcoming. Drinks are delicious and affordable and food is out of this world! I would definitely recommend that you try out Brown Butter!

It was nice and quiet and not too crowded, my wife ordered the polar expresso and said it was delicious, I started with the crawfish nachos, it was huge and delicious had to keep myself from eating it all. My wife had the Nashville hot sandwiche and said it was amazing I had the smash burger it was amazing as well. Im definitely coming back

Guys. I’ve been coming here since it opened on the Westbank. The last few times I’ve been in I’m underwhelmed. The burgers and chicken sandwich is over cooked and dry. The waitstaff is clumsy and forgets your orders. The ambience just isn’t here. The place needs to be fine tuned. The plywood tables aren’t cutting it anymore and people hate getting sat at the high top tables. We stopped in last on Friday night 1/23 for a couple beers and apps with friends. Every table around us was fussing about their food, when I sat down the lady next to me recommended I leave and eat elsewhere because the service and food was bad. We left after an hour with just beers because the waitress forgot our food three times. It’s starting to not be worth the trouble.

Amazing food! I would order here every week if I lived closer. The service was exceptional. The staff was kind, attentive, and gave fantastic recommendations. Management even greeted us at the door, which was a really nice touch. Highly recommend!
