I ate here today for the first time. I ordered the salmon burger with a spinach salad and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! The salmon burger was very flavorful as were the potatoes and salad, and everything was very fresh. I don’t know why I waited so long to eat here, but I will definitely be going back now that I know how good it is!

Picked up a salmon burger to go, and it definitely was not as good as the one I had before. The patty was overcooked, and it had very little slaw or sauce on it (see photo). I was pretty disappointed.

Such a great spot! Our office nearby has catered from Brown Bag a ton and it’s a crowd favorite for sure! I tried it myself and, while the restaurant menu is a little different than the catering menu, I was just as pleased! I got the Chargrilled Chicken Teriyaki (YUM!), the jalapeño corn casserole and the berry spinach salad. All were delicious, and so were the sweet and orange teas! Highly recommend!

Our company was catered by them and the food was so good I had to go and get some for lunch yesterday. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with spinach salad and skin-on mashed potatoes. Everything was sooooo good and the prices are reasonable for very healthy food. I will definitely be a regular customer.

What a sweet little restaurant. Delicious healthy food. My husband’s spicy salmon burger was so tasteful and my chicken breast, which I wasn’t expecting much out of, was fabulous. The sides were great too! And the sauces! I’ll definitely be back. Sounds like a great place to order from for Thanksgiving if they’re open. Also, the service here, phenomenal. The woman checked on us a few times, brought us some sauces, to-go container, and they even brought a water dish outside for someone sitting with their dog. Very caring staff. I don’t usually describe a restaurant as “sweet” but this one definitely fits the description!

We had a really good experience here for the first time. It was crowded as it is a popular place to both grab lunch but also pick up your larger catering orders, so make sure to leave some time for waiting on a table to open up at lunch time. The portions were substantial for lunch. My husband got the fish tacos with two sides and I got the grilled chicken with two sides. It was a nice break from chain restaurants and over-priced signature lunch establishments in the area. It was also affordable considering how expensive it can be to eat in Franklin. Overall a great experience with fresh food and good atmosphere.

The food at Brown Bag is amazing. Their menu is small, making it easy to choose from. The food is healthy and very good. My co-workers and I have picked up from there a couple of times. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Salmon Burger are both excellent choices. All of their sides are delicious as well.

Not only a healthy meal but also for a good cause!!! I have eaten both the chicken and asparagus and the steak and side salads. All where cooked to perfection and tasted great. I now buy a chicken sheet pan for meal prep for the week. It has been a great deal and a big help. I highly recommend this place to eat for lunch. Make sure you check the hours before you go. I wish they were open on the weekend.

The space? Spotless and chic—think “casual lunch meets magazine spread.” And while their hours are a fleeting 11 AM to 2 PM, Mon — Fri, their food is worth planning your week around.
Now, the food! Buffalo Chicken Tacos that scream simplicity & a powerful taste, jalapeño corn casserole that gives a surprising twist to a classic side dish, and a steak sandwich so tender I’m convinced it was massaged daily. Don’t even get me started on the banana pudding and brownies—desserts so divine they could headline at the Grand Ole Opry.
We loved it so much, we had them cater our Thanksgiving dinner while visiting from out of town. Best decision ever. Honestly, I may skip cooking altogether from now on—why bother when Brown Bag exists?

Meal was mediocre and overpriced. Better vegetarian options and/or better serving size is needed. Gluten free options are marked on the menu, but still a lackluster variety
Told the cashier I had a gluten allergy and was assured that the items I order were gluten free/could be modified but I found a crouton in my salad that was not supposed to be there.
