Today was my first time going, and my boyfriend and I had such a great experience! The owner was very kind, and he definitely stays busy! He takes the order then goes back and makes everything, so you know it’s amazing home cooked pizza! The restaurant itself is so cozy, and there’s even some personal pictures from the owner and his wife of reptiles and their dogs to add a personal feel to the place. The food was amazing, the owner was amazing, and the atmosphere was so cozy. I’ll definitely be back!!!

The guy who owns this is a straight up miserable nasty person. My friend went to get one slice and they had a $8 minimum. When my friend came back without pizza and let me know, I decided I could eat too so I went in. Before entering, my friend let me know that the guy working was kind of mean. This mentally prepared me for what was going to happen next. I was going to keep it simple and get 3 cheese slices. Then I noticed there was only 2 pepperoni and 1 cheese slice available. In the time that it took me to ask my friends if they were okay with pepperoni (2 seconds) the guy threw his hands in the air and angrily said “come on what do you guys want”. I said “are you serious” and he said “yea I’m serious” and from there it escalated into a yelling argument while he was preparing three simple slices that were already made. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy and had one table. He also waited minutes to even acknowledge us which is no problem at all, but then to throw a fit because I ask my friends if pepperoni is fine? It’s clear based on the other reviews that I’m not the only person this has happened to. And to the owner reading this; I hope you can find some peace in your life and stop intentionally ruining the peace of others. Pizza was good though.

Well our pizza was supposed to be half pep and half pineapple but as you can see from the photo it must have been thrown around during delivery. The pizza had almost no sauce but the pepperoni and crust was very good. My salad was also $10 and smaller then my hand, missing the hard boiled egg that was listed as included. All in all for spending $60 on a pizza and miniature salad, this was not worth the money 🙁 i was also supposed to have a roll come with the salad that was not included.
Hopefully i just ordered on a bad night because the pizza has great potential but delivery, price, and including everything listed needs to be improved

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I Would give negative stars if possible!
Openly rude and treated poorly even after ordering! So we decided to leave. Definitely NOT GAY FRIENDLY either. Not one person was in this establishment, but the man acted too busy to take an order from us. Either the cook or owner was openly RUDE! He was the only employee in the place at that time. It was 7pm. Great way to waste your time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

My favorite pizza in all of State College, and the place hasn’t changed a wink in almost 30 years! Love the nostalgia, it’s th perfect pizza if you’re used to Philly/NJ pizza.

Food was tasty, service was good. But I ordered a slice with pepperoni and there were 4 small pieces on a big slice. See photo. I also got a slice with mushroom and that was loaded. I would still recommend going here. But be prepared for sparse meat toppings

Pizza was not good. Chicken cheese steak and regular cheesesteak were horrendous. Charged $12.50 per cheesesteak and that’s what I receive in return. Wouldn’t recommend going there. First and last time.

The pizza looks pretty, but the taste is not very good. It was undercooked, there was absolutely no grease, and the mushrooms did not taste fresh. I ordered a side of ranch and that was pretty terrible as well. Possibly the worst NY style pizza I’ve ever had.

I had this pizza on brother’s day, which is a relatively new tradition where i eat pizza from every brother’s pizza restaurant within 30 minutes of state college. this shop was somewhat of a darkhorse candidate.. with the 3.1 star rating, but actually the pizza performed very highly compared to the other pizzas and was debatably the best. it was flavorful, thin crust, and not too rich. i loved the small pepperoni cups too. thanks for a great pizza !

Fair enough. The amount of 16″ are good for two male adults. For chicken wings, bbq flavor should be better.
