Wow. Generous portions. Good food. Had a bit of a wait for pickup because all online orders but well worth the wait.
Family so we had BBQ fish(tangy), shrimp,macNcheese, yams, fried fish,potato salad and wings(whole so wing+drum)
Potato Salad tastes like the deviled egg filling and I’m not complaining – so damn good! Fish was super tasty both BBQ & Fried. Generous portions super filling!
Last – that cornbread just tops it off!

Stopped in on my way home and tried Brothers Kitchen for the first time and I WASN’T DISAPPOINTED!! MY FRIED FISH WAS AWESOME !! 4 very nice sized pieces for $8.
The entire restaurant was immaculate. I would come back just for that reason alone !! The front and the back of the ” house ” looked very clean.
I will be back for more fish and I wanted to try the sweet potato pie but they were all out!! ( Make some extras and keep them in the freezer) !!

I knew when I pulled up that the food was going to be delicious. The food was fresh and the portions were great for the price . It was more of a take out restaurant however they have spoken word on tuesdays with an additional space in the back. I would love to come up see what that would be like. Well worth the hour drive

WHY is this place open for business? You are forced to give at least 1 star in order to place a review. .. this place is negative 1 star. The absolute WORST food I ever had in my life. I ordered the grilled whiting…I received steamed whiting loaded with black pepper and salt…there was something they call collards … that was salty mush…cornbread was burnt and soggy because it was put in with the steamed fish. The only saving grace was the yams. Seriously the worst food ever…please shut your doors and go sit in the corner somewhere. Just stop!

I ordered the fish lunch special, 5 wings, corn bread, and cole slaw. Wasn’t expecting so much fish i couldn’t eat it all. Not because of the portion but because of the burnt taste of it being cooked in burnt grease. The wings tasted the same. We only ate one piece of fish and 2 wings. The corn bread was good. Cole slaw was a miss. Food went to waste.

Sad to say another beloved restaurant has lost its touch. Not sure if it is due to covid or inflation. But this was me and hubbies favorite spot. We recently placed 2 fish platter orders. There was literally NO FISH – just the shell. No lie!! I could not believe it. So I took pictures … Sadly we will not be returning as this was our second attempt . not sure what happened … Brothers kitchen used to hit the spot. NOTICE TO ALL RESTAURANTS WE GET IT INFLATION IS REAL … BUT PLEASE STOP SKIMPING ON INGREDIENTS AND QUALITY OF FOOD/SERVICE …. ohhhh how we are going to miss the “old fish sandwiches”… They were the best!!! Ughhhh….

Very disappointed the shrimp was not Soulfood at all thought they would be fresh but instead they were frozen popcorn shrimp mac and cheese was not baked mac and cheese and greens were bland and under cooked the ribs did not fall of the bone was tough had to add BBQ sauce and try doctor them up

The mac was dry and burned. No seasoning on the mac. The chicken was salty and burnt. The shrimp was ok. Do not recommend.

I can’t believe I ordered from this place. I normally don’t leave bad reviews but when I’m one bite from salmonella poison that draws the line. I’m so disgusted and disappointed. I wish I could give them negative stars cause this place ain’t it. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
