Brothers is a modernized throwback to the old Midwestern corner tavern. A clean, relaxed social hangout; our bar stock-full of cold beer and drink with a kitchen in the back serving up comfortable American food fare. Food portions are large and juicy; Drink specials are good and plenty. A lot of televisions and not a bad seat in the house. It’s hard to imagine you won’t leave here satisfied.

We had a great time at Brothers! We were visiting the campus for our son who is interested in Penn State and catching a game too. We decided to get some appetizers and drinks to hold us over for game time and we were very happy with everything here! Glad we stopped in and we wouldn’t hesitate to go again, if we are back in town.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, largely thanks to our waitress, Liv. From the moment we sat down, Liv was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She had great recommendations from the menu and was patient with our questions. Our drinks were always refilled, and she checked on us just the right amount but not too much, but enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Liv’s positive attitude and excellent service truly enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you go, be sure to ask for Liv!

My experience at brother’s bar & grill is definitely one to write home about! Not only was I served with a smile, but also efficiency. If I had to pin one member of the staff that really enhanced my experience, there is no other answer than Marko Kosanovich! I mean this guy just simply gets it — all I hope is that if he unfortunately leaves one day, Brother’s Bar & Grill will hold the rest of their staff to this same level of excellence!

Stopped in for a late lunch…love the atmosphere! Food was super delicious and the waitress was so kind to help with menu selections! Definitely worth a try! We were here on sprung break week so there wasn’t a wait time and not packed full of hungry people! Nice and clean too…friendly employees! They even have some arcade games and pool tables up on the top level so great place for the whole family!

The first girl bartender left and never came back to take our order. Then a guy came over and when I say he does not play about his job. He got to work. I never been somewhere where the drinks are $1 or $5 for so much. A pitcher for $10

Sam is absolutely incredible. Every time I’m at Brother Bar, she’s the reason the night goes from good to great. She’s attentive without hovering, fast even when the place is slammed, and always has a positive, welcoming energy that makes you feel like a regular.
She remembers orders, checks in at the perfect moments, and somehow manages to keep every table happy while still staying upbeat and friendly. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving people a great experience.
If you’re going to Brother Bar, ask for Sam! She’s hands-down the best waitress in State College and a huge part of why this place is so much fun.

I had such a great experience at Brothers Bar & Grill thanks to Elana! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Even though the place was busy, she never missed a beat — always checking in with a smile and making sure our food and drinks came out just right.
