Ever wondered about the origins of Brookstreet BBQ? It started in the Uptown Houston kitchen of Texas Chicken Rotisserie. As our menu grew, the need for dedicated BBQ locations became apparent. Our first was in Sugar Land, followed by Missouri City and Houston. We’re experts in classic hickory wood Bar-B-Q, striving daily to perfect our craft. Our brisket is a crowd-pleaser, along with our smoked turkey and jalapeño sausage. While our family of restaurants varies in cuisine and tradition, all share a commitment to high-quality food, great value, and exceptional hospitality.

The service was counter service.
The smoker smelled fantastic, but the worst is dried brisket there is nothing more disappointing to walk into a fantastic smelling establishment and get meat that is so dried out.
The sausage was okay, but between the dried out ribs and brisket it was extremely disappointing because the reviews recommend this place for Barbecue!
And Barbecue IS NOT Cheep so to serve it to paying guests dry was very disappointing

My order was a plate with two meats (brisket and ribs), comes with two sides I got mac n cheese and potato, all costs 21 $.
The brisket was really good BUT the portion is too small, ribs were disappointed, hard, dry, smelly and cold!!
Mac n cheese tasteless, potato was ok.
Place is nice, staff ok.
Will not come back again.

A very below average bbq place by a quality standard. There’s nothing spectacular about this place. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone other than the fact the service was quick and price was reasonable. Not a place I would return to when there are so many better options in the area.

We had almost 40 people and were given the entire upstairs. The marbled brisket was cooked great. I would prefer a little more smoke flavor but I’m not knocking off any stars for that. Self serve kind of place but staff was super attentive and helped with water, plates and forks. We had a great time and no one left hungry.

We stopped in Brookstreet BBQ while in town, and it was so good. The food was delicious, and the staff were really friendly and extremely welcoming! They even gave us a bottle of their original barbecue sauce to take with us, which was such a nice touch.
If you’re in the area and love good barbecue, it’s definitely worth stopping by.

This is our fav place for BBQ in Houston! Staff is super friendly. Great value! My fav is the ribs-so delicious , flavorful & fall off the bone! Their bbq shredded brisket is amazing and my hubby loves the sliced brisket as well! The bread pudding is yummy too! I love that it’s not overcrowded -it’s a hidden gem!!

I’ve had this place several times through the past few years when I’m in Houston and tonight was special, they hooked it up. God bless the crew working tonight. We needed to get it brisket fix before the winter freeze so we ordered a pound. Today there was a very nice amount of brisket and the quality was very good and a good deal. Today came with some nice bread rolls and good amount of jalapeños, pickles & onions and some nice BBQ sauces. Thank you crew tonight and God bless you all!

Our first time eating here and it was absolutely amazing. The service was fast and efficient. Everyone was friendly. Bbq sandwich was very good. The macaroni and cheese was to die for. Banana pudding was also delicious! Highly recommend coming here if you’re in town.

I use the drive through at the Sugar Land location and I have found on more than one occasion that when I ask for moist brisket they still give me the dry lean brisket. They put it on the bottom of the bag and I usually don’t catch it until I am home. It is soooo dry. Chicken is also dry but tasty. Ribs have a good flavor, meaty but again can be dry. You are almost forced to use sauce. Baked potatoes are average size but they don’t put as much meat as some places if you get it stuffed. Best thing is the potato casserole. Service is very friendly.
