LET went to Hocus Smokus BBQ which is inside the same building as Brookside Tavern. Honestly one of my best experiences dining out. The staff was very accommodating even though we showed up very close to closing time, the food was absolutely delicious and the place was really cute and comfortable. It was a last minute find that we will be planning for next time we’re in the area. I wish I had caught the gentleman’s name that served us last night (11/6) but he was so nice. Looking forward to next time!

I recently ordered takeout from brookside and was pleasantly surprised. The burger was cooked perfectly which is a rarity for takeout and the fries were delicious. I had to wait a little bit to pick up my takeout order but it was mainly because the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night.
Can’t wait to try some of the barbecue, my son had chicken tenders which were awesome!

Went here today with a friend to watch the Game. This was place had a good friendly crowd and the bartender was nice. We ordered two orders of wings with celery & Blue cheese (we ordered two different flavor wings) and some beers. The food took forever to come out. When it finally came to the table, the wings were under cooked (raw inside) and both orders tasted the same. The server told us that they are sorry but they ran out of celery. We asked if we could have carrot sticks in it’s place and she said sure. Moments later we received 4 small carrot sticks and the server said she is sorry but theses are the last of the carrots. (Really?) The beer was good & the bartender bought a round.

This is first time I am writing a review. I just had to tell everyone about this wonderful restaurant. Had a party yesterday Saturday for 13 people and the service and the food was fabulous. Our waiter Kyle was so great. I recommend anyone having dinner or a party to go to brookside. The ribs and chicken were delicious. And all the sides too. The chips are outrageous!! Will be returning soon

I rarely write reviews because I’m rarely blown away; but I enjoyed this place so much that it deserves a shout out. Being from the south I have found it difficult to find BBQ and comfort food but this place checks those boxes. Buffalo mozzarella sticks- just order them. Your belly will thank you. If you’re really into sauces and condiments this place has you covered. Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, and cole slaw YES PLEASE! Brookside is a hidden gem. I 10/10 recommend.

Some of the best food and service to be found! The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the head chef is very knowledgeable of various dietary restrictions and is willing to adjust dishes as necessary. I can’t possibly say enough nice things about this establishment! If you enjoy good food and to be treated well by people who genuinely seem to care if you’re enjoying your experience, this is the restaurant for you!

I loved the wings and french fries. I want to come back and try the other flavors. However; I thought that the pulled pork was lacking/a little dry. The bbq sauces they had on the table were also very good.
