The deli here at this location is a hit or miss. I can only assume it’s the workers that work that particular day. Last week for the daily special we got there a little after 1p to order. The King ranch casserole was available but no sides. All 3 tins were empty. We told the lady we’d wait for sides cuz we wanted the special. The look on her face and hearing her huff-puff was so unprofessional. Today we wanted to try the new daily special. The Salisbury steak and it was so nasty. We couldn’t eat it. They were dry & overcooked! The gravy was WHITE and didnt taste right. Salisbury steaks sit and marinate in BROWN GRAVY!! They are not dry nor taste/look like hockey pucks! The mashed potatoes were to watery and the mac/cheese is also dry. Them ladies got to do better for daily deli eaters like us.
Maybe we’ll go the extra mile and try the whiteoak brookshires.
